Quotes in AMCAS/Secondary essays

Hi guys, I'm a big fan of poetry and I was wondering if it would be wise to use particularly insightful lines to bring some flair to our essays?

I was thinking of using this on my AMCAS to talk about how I need to be compassionate. What do you think?

If serious- not a great idea. Our premed committee advises strongly against using quotes.

If facetious- I suggest sending in a cassette and referring to it in your PS/secondary. Video of you dancing to the song is even better.
