Okay, I'm reading the Examkrackers Biology 1 book, and am hoping that someone can clarify how an R group binds to an amine group. I'm having trouble picturing this:
Page 14: "In addition to these forces, turns that disrupt both alpha helix and beta pleated sheet formation are induced by amino acid proline due to its physical structure: the R group binds to the amine group, causing proline to be more rigid than a typical amino acid."
