Anyone out there have a semi-definitive reference off the top of their head? Have to give a journal club during a CCU month, and figure I might as well learn something of relevance..

I'm also looking for a good journal article on this topic. I have a patient with NSCLC who developed a pericardial effusion after treatment, which is thought to be secondary to radiation. Anyone know of any studies that talk/look at this?

Based on older studies, so take with a grain of salt when extrapolating to how things are done nowadays..

I would outrule malignant effusion, if I were you.
