A CT Radiology Consultant is needed to assist in the creation of an educational product.
The position is a part-time opportunity requiring approximately a 20-hour per week commitment from June 2009 to September 2009. Work location will be primarily in New York City, but remote arrangements may be considered for excellent candidates. The CT Radiology Consultant will work with our development team as a subject matter expert. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
The employee will be responsible for labeling and descriptions of pathology and related anatomy, as well as creation and validation of other health content. An understanding of pathology, diagnosis, and treatment is also critical. Medical accuracy of information is of the utmost importance. The employee must also be able to provide recommendations for how to best communicate anatomy and pathology content, including advising on the appropriate level of depth of medical content.
Candidate must be a practicing or recently retired Radiologist with deep expertise in CT. A good candidate will have significant expertise reviewing CT scans, understanding CT and patient data, and making diagnoses. Generalist knowledge is required, but additional specialization in cardiac imaging is highly valuable. Understanding of other modalities a plus.
