Radiology and NYCOM

There is a post on the Auntminnie site that 7 out of 9 applicants from NYCOM got radiology (I don't know the breakdown of DO vs. MD).

Can Pags or anyone else verify this?

That's a beautiful thing. With all the talk about how DOs are at a disadvantage when it comes to competitive residencies, it's nice to know that motivated students can still achieve their goals.

Congrats to both you and pags (I remember reading you got a spot at Brigham).

I didn't even know there were 9 people applying for radiology. I only knew of 5, including myself. I'm starting to think I was a bit too pessimistic about this whole DO thing. DO's across the country did very well in the allopathic rads match this year, albeit, no powerhouse programs to speak of.

I guess PDs nationwide learned from my incessant whining. 🙄
