Radiology Questions

For those of you who went into Radiology....what kind of research did yall participate in and around what type of board scores did you receive on step 1. I am not sure if this is what I want to pursue but am def interested and would like to start gathering information because I am starting this fall. Is research pretty necessary to get into radiology? Thanks for all the info and help. Appreciate it.

Research helps but is probably only *necessary* at top tier programs. Step 1 and clinical grades are the most important.
