Radiology residency as a FMG

I've checked the charting outcomes of the match 2018 and noticed that even with a score of 250 there's only a 60% chance of matching. That's basically a coin flip. Not to mention I probably have to take a year off to aquire the 15 abstracts the average applicant has.

Are there other ways of getting a radiology residency? Can I begin internal Medicine and then switch, or finish radiology residency in Europe and then get a job in the US? How about dual applying to radiology and internal (as backup).

Those are all options. None of them are easy/guaranteed.
