To all my SDN friends:
As many of you know, my daughter Riley and niece Claudia were killed in July of this year.
This holiday season our family will be remembering our two angels with acts of kindness for our fellow human beings. I would like to invite you all to join us.
We've created Riley and Claudia "kindness cards" that can be used when doing nice things for strangers, family and friends. The goal of the Riley and Claudia cards is to pass on smiles and kindness in the name of two little girls whose lives were all too short.
You can use these cards to perform anonymous acts of kindness for friends, family or strangers in your community. Or, use the back of the card to write a note to tell someone you love them, send "get well" wishes, or anything else you choose.
The cards are business card size, glossy front, with a full color picture of the girls.
Some ideas we have for using the cards include: baking cookies for friends/family/shut-ins, putting flowers on the grave of a veteran (or anyone), donating food or pet toys to an animal shelter, angel tree or adopt a family/child at Christmas, raking leaves/yard work for an ill or elderly neighbor, etc, etc. There are so many nice things we can do for others while we honor the memory of Riley & Claudia.
