This isn't MCAT related, but can anyone help me solve this for a friend? 🙂

2/3 (21x+12)-13=1/5(35x-35)

Thanks in advance!

15*(2/3 (21x+12)-13=1/5(35x-35))
210x+120-195=105x-105
210x-75=105x-105
105x=30
21x=6
x=6/21

To be honest, I didn't want to reply to this because I'm not really sure why you even resurrected such an old non-MCAT-related post in the first place, but I feel like I must point out that your math is wrong. Chemtopper did it correctly. The correct answer is -2/7
