Ha. Ex-power lifter. I used to be a badass lifter, but haven't even been to the gym for almost 2 years now.
🙁 I used to take creatine and stuff! My height was a disadvantage when I was trying to get ready to compete because I had trouble getting into a decent weight class. Now I am just fat.

I really am going to get back into working out. With starting residency it is time for me to make a new start. I loved lifting. First I just need to start walking around the block or something (seriously, I'm in that bad of shape). One of my doctors told me I could rip my pacemaker out of my heart with major upper body lifting, which scared me a bit.

(The generator is sewed into my left pec anyway, so that gets sore pretty easily).
Lifters here - did squatting hurt your knees? I LOVE squatting, and it was my best lift, but I swear my knees were never the same after that. I use really good form so that's not the problem. I always did go below parallel though.
