I am picking up my last course for my degree requirements and then it's thesis work for me. I start my course tomorrow. It's only 6 weeks long and I've heard really good things about it, so I'm hoping it's not too painful.

I looked closer, and I believe those are goggles in his speedo. What a strange place to put them

Trust me, I am not trendy either. But they are SO comfy. I didn't really want a pair but my boyfriend thinks they're the greatest things EVAR. When I was wearing them he wouldn't... um... leave me alone. 😉

Don't ask me, ask my boyfriend! He says my butt looks nice it them (nothing like being objectified by your boyfriend huh? 🙄 ) So if you have a nice butt, I think these are good for showing it off.

Hey TypeA - and anyone else who is still reading over my PS - I had a really great conversation with a friend of mine this morning and I completely reworked the order of my PS. It flows much better now and I think it's also more honest. I'll finish this up and PM it to you guys if you don't mind.

i need to work on mine. i wrote a draft, but i think it's way too long. i guess too long is better than too short. and it's not catchy yet. i'm trying to find a theme.

I'm so happy that Word will count characters; it's been a lifesaver!!

I may be a bit sappy but I think honesty and sincerity is the best hook ever.

yes, that helps a ton, especially with the activities descriptions.

and oxeye, uggs are those ridiculously expensive suede, sherpa-lined boots that got very popular a few years ago as snow boots, and now girls wear them with miniskirts for "fun."

Hey - I was kinda out of touch with the fashion over here while I was in N.I. but did those nasty @$$ furry boots ever get popular here? :barf: the girls in my youth group used to make fun of me because I hated those so much.

Thanks, girls, you rock. 👍 Hopefully it will help cut down on the threads by noobs asking what course they should take. Even if they do start these threads, someone can just gently direct them to the sticky, and we won't have to tell them to use the search and risk coming off as snarky. :meanie: I've posted a thread in pre-allo asking the M0s to please rate their courses too, but if you guys know other SDNers who took courses and are willing to rate them, I'll love you forever if you tell them about the new threads. 😍

Maybe, but they'll have taken their courses a lot longer of a time ago. I'd rather have people rate test prep who took the courses recently to maximize accuracy and memory of the courses. Even my own feedback is already kind of old; I took the MCAT almost two years ago already. 😱

hahahaha.....my parent's friend's daughter got them when she came here. She was sooooooooooooo in love with them. She lives in London, so she could wear them in the cold. Those would not work for warm weathered places because they are too thick and my feet would probably become real sweaty and nasty and the shoes would probably stink if I wore them in Fl weather.

They used to have several imitation uggs too when it become popular. Personally I'm not a fan of anything that looks furry on feet because it would probably absorb the sweat and make your shoes sooooooo stinky.

i am writing mine for the kaplan online course as we speak. i did a dum dum move, though, and voted in the kaplan live course. can you delete my vote?? i would guess as a mod and as the thread creator, you might have that power.
