i finally understand what an anion gap acidosis is. BRS Physiology gets 👍 👍 .

why couldnt they teach us about anion gaps in undergrad, its chemistry! instead they taught us soooooooooooooooo much stuff that 99% of docs will never use. /rant

A-man, my dad saw your avatar and told me this story:
A man came in with a tear in his rectum and said it was spontaeous. The surgeon questioned him and he admitted he had a rubber ball with a string and you can guess what he was doing. Some time later he came in again, because the string had broken.
You would think he would learn.

Oh what we have to look forward to 🙄

Um maybe I should have added that my dad is a doctor and he was in med school at the time. Out of context that just sounds bizarre.

if he had just joined, he would have been. when they've been around for a while you cant just ban them. they need to get warned, then post held, then maybe a longer post hold, THEN banned. i agree though, what a vile thing to say to someone. even over the internet.

I do cheat with the path forum, but my recent absence was due to me eating Doritos and watching TV. No microwave, what to eat for dinner? Doritos.

Yeah, those x-rays are unbelievable. That kind of stuff is why I went into path.

I understand. I'm getting all riled up though.

I just took a glance at that guy's recent post history and he has said all kinds of inflammatory asinine stuff that I believe violates the TOS. But after this I won't mention it anymore, I promise.

He's been around for a while. He even helped answer questions in the subforum for a while. I'm really shocked.

its site policy that the everyone and lounge forums are un-moderated. only admins and smods moderate over there and then ONLY when comments like that one are made. there is a MUCH higher threshold of when a mod steps in over there compared to when we step in with the academic forums.

bah, i thought i could get phys done in 3 days. its gonna take at least 4 and maybe half of a 5th. i have slack built into my schedule so i can afford it but i want to have 2 weeks at the end where all the learning is over so that i can just focus on memorizing and answering questions in the homestretch. the rest of the subjects need to be finished on schedule or that 2 week window is gonna get shorter.

Actually, I put someone who has since been banned on ignore list long time ago. It doesn't block the PMs from coming to you just seeing their posts unless someone else quotes it.

That @ss who has since been banned actually went to USF with me for awhile. When I first met him he was nice, then I saw him again and he started creeping me out totally and was just totally crazy. I'm glad he doesn't post on here anymore nor live in Florida for that matter.


The guy I'm talking about even tried to play it off like what I was saying was a lie even though he admiitted to me that he was previously banned one time before that. Oh well, he's no longer here so I don't care.

As per Pysuing or whatever his name is, I don't understand why he said what he said. Megboo's post, unless it was deleted, didn't seem to say much except a brief terse statement that there's a lot of hate in the world. She didn't say anything against anything specific. So dont know why that guy wrote that. That's just f***ed up and shocking because when he first started posting on here he was helpful in the subforum.
