I agree. I especially had a lot of fun when I owned my first company and people would talk to me on the phone. Suddenly, when I would fly out to see them they couldn't quite get it through their head that I was the person that they were entrusting with their money. :meanie:

Fun times! Fun, fun, fun.

One time, I got so sick of it when someone sarcastically asked me how old I was that I just shot back "Old enough to know what I am doing."

Heh. I came into class on more than one occasion and the students thought I was one of them, until I got up to teach the class. 😀

hey people. crazy stuff, i've only been on myspace for like a day and i already got 4 friend requests from women with links to their xxx websites on their profile. 😱

the myspace equivalent of spamming :laugh:

besides that i've been studying and cutting down my sdn posting. ok, just wanted to say hi. 🙂

Haha, I get asked constantly when I'm doing my volunteer stuff at the hospital if I'm a high school student.

And one nurse asked if I was the daughter of the doctor I was shadowing. :laugh: He's only 9 years old than me.

hahahaha. I was at the VA last semester trying to get some shadowing stuff together for someone wanting to shadow in cardiology, when a guy working in the area asks me if I'm the doctor's daughter and a highschooler. Another time, my friend went to shadow in the same dept and was asked the same thing by someone else. But she's like 4 ft. 11 inches and looks like she could be between 12 and 16 at times. She also has this funny way of saying bye like a kid sometimes. So I could see where it was mistaken that she was that young. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Blech, I need a break from my kids!!!!! My husband works until 9:30 on Wednesdays. The 2.5 year old is just miserable with a cold. She is the biggest baby when she is sick and I'm tired of listening to her constant whining!!

The baby doesn't know what she wants other than being held constantly - this doesn't work well with an older sister who needs my attention also right now.

And what I am doing? Typing one-handed at the computer holding the baby while the older baby is sitting next to me whining and acting miserable - but at least I'm getting to vent! It really does help. 😉

aw! i can picture that. when i was little and i got sick i would hang all over my mom too--must have annoyed the crap out of her but it was only thing that would make me feel better. i love your new avatar--so cute!!

MED stands for medical education development, which is kind of dumb sounding. 😀 It's a nine week session including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and histology, and it's geared towards people like me who need to seriously improve their apps to have any hopes of getting accepted to med school. 😳 It's a good way to prove you can handle the coursework (if you do well), and it's held at the med school so I guess you can make contacts and get to know some people on the inside so I guess that could be helpful too.

but we're all living in a dorm. 👎 how lame is that? :laugh:

I'm a 1982er, but I was born in January so I'm almost a 1981er. I was in high school during the Simpson trial, and a sophomore in college on September 11.

Happy middle of the night, random peeps! I had a nightmare and couldn't fall right back to sleep, so of course I came to SDN. Now I'm going to try to go back to sleep again.

Lil, you're killing me!

Well all, I must go...need to take a shower before taking the pups to the vet. I have to take a fecal sample with us and the chow won't produce. Stubborn little red thing!

"the pups" lol! chows are so cute--i've known a couple people with chows and they just seem like such sweet dogs
