My daughter is going nuts! She loves that there is a bird and a nest outside her window! This is the view from her sister's room.

I hope I'll be able to get a picture of the chicks when they hatch!

How cute!! I remember when I was really little a bird made a nest on our front porch and my dad took us out every day to look at the eggs and the chicks when they were born. It was so cool.

Thank goodness SDN is back! *twitches*

I ordered a Domino's pizza since I still have no food and no microwave and the cheesy bread is literally half the size that it was in IC. 🙄

woo hoo!! i missed you sdn! our cheesy bread sucks here too

Tomorrow I have to go do stuff. I spent the whole day sitting around today and in my brand new bed. It is so nice to have a great bed but now I just want to spend even more time in it.

Must get food and microwave and MI bank.

Anybody seen Munich or the Narnia movie? After getting King Kong I don't want to get another movie and throw away hours of my life.

Hated Munich, loved Narnia.

Depends on what kind of movie you like. What kind of movie do you generally like? Or what are some of your favorite movies?

The scary thing is my brother said it was really good and I should definitely rent it. 😱

ha! at least you saw it as a rental and not at the theatre. i blew full price theatre tickets to see that crap.

i saw it in NY with my dad and 15 year old sis. she loved it, she even felt bad for kong. she almost cried when the planes circled around and killed him.

My brother is 26 and a married father. 😱

I actually just sent him an email asking him exactly what he liked about that movie.

I have sort of a weird taste in movies. I guess my all time favorites are the Matrix and LOTR trilogies (yes, I'm a dork  ) I loved Kill Bill, but hated Pulp Fiction. I have really enjoyed some documentary type movies so thought I might like Munich. Narnia looked a bit like LOTR so thought I might like it. I generally really like science fiction, but hate Star Wars and stupid alien movies.

pulp fiction > kill bill but i liked them both. that scene in kill bill in the japanese dojo was freaking out of control.

I thought I would hate Kill Bill and didn't watch it for a long time. The soundtrack added so much to it too. I thought the black and white in KB was ok but didn't like it when they went to animation. I guess they had to do that so it didn't get an NC-17 (I read that somewhere).

I moved out to Nebraska when I was in college and STILL don't know if this is true or not. I have some folks that swear to me that they did this, and others who say it is just made up to fool city folk. 😕

What is hot oiling hair?? 😕

Apologies again. 😍
Exactly what it sounds like. 😳 You buy the oil in the hair care section. To use it, you have to heat up a cup of water (I microwave it for a minute), then you wet your hair and put it in for 3-5 minutes and shampoo it out. I have frizzy hair, so it helps me keep it under control. Otherwise I have Einstein hair with a ponytail. :meanie:

I don't know how the Narnia movies are, but I've read all the books multiple times, and they're great. Which one did they make a movie of? I'm guessing The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Interestingly, in my set, that's the first volume, but it's not first any more in the new sets. I've had mine for 20+ years though. 😛 My favorite Narnia book is The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. 👍 I think after I get my stuff out of storage I will have to re-read them all. The last books in the Harry Potter series and Christopher Paolini's Eragon trilogy won't be coming out until next year at the earliest. 🙁

the soundtrack was such a HUGE part of the kill bill movies. i liked both of those movies as well as pulp fiction. didn't see narnia and only actually read part of The lion, the witch, and the wardrobe.

 einstein hair!! 😀

my hair is the complete opposite. it is as super straight and fine as you can get. i have so many curly-haired friends who tell me they'd kill for my hair, but i'd much rather have curlier and a little thicker. i'd at least like something that has some life in a ponytail. sometimes i go crazy and do little tiny curls in my hair (takes a few hours, but looks fantastic).

Okay, you will definitely like Narnia. You might like Munich, but that one is iffy. My husband's favorite movies are the Matrix and LOTR - but he also loves Star Wars so you might have similar taste, but he's more likely to like any movie (if that makes *any* sense). Anyway - he liked Narnia enough to buy it. He thought Munich was fine to sit through once and found it interesting, but didn't like it enough to ever want to see it a second time. 😉

Pulp Fiction is also on my husband's movie hate list. I haven't seen it! 😉
