They are beautiful pieces of furniture, but so wasteful if they are not appreciated for what they are. IMO, of course.

My father in law had built a harpsicord that was used as a glorified table to hold a TV after he died. Terrible. Just terrible.

I definitely agree - my husband and I saved for a very long time to buy the grand piano in our house. It made me frustrated while we were saving that my husband's parents have a beautiful grand piano that never gets played anymore. My mother-in-law would have let us have it, but my father-in-law insisted on keeping it even though he never plays it anymore. Very sad!

Hey don't limit us! I have nothing to study right now. The only productive things I have to do during the day are cleaning (hah, like that really gets done) and working on my PS.

Please don't. That goes for everyone. Girls, percy has had enough. He's not even posting there anymore. Please let it have a rest so that we don't have to close the thread. BTW, I'm really annoyed that I am never going to get the five minutes of my life that I spent reading that BS back. 🙄

I'm depressed I actually wasted time reading the abortion thread in Pre-allo. It was going alright for awhile but has down descended into flames. 🙁

Sounds like the difference between me and my roommate. My roommate is a vocalist and pianist. She sings and plays piano for her church. She sounds like my old piano teacher. That is how good she is. She could probably teach with how well she does or win competition. I could never play that good but I can do some of the songs pretty well, though nowhere near the perfection of her. I used to play for some patients in Shriners Hospital a few years ago. That was about the extent of performance I'd done. I'm going to try to make a little time to get back into it.

I want a grand piano some day when I'm a doctor and can afford it and have a house big enough to have one.

haha I had some nice Lindor Dark Chocolates with creamy filling inside.

It was great. i want to make chocolate covered strawberries. i've been having a craving.


On the subject of Piano's:

My old piano at my 'rents house was a friend's piano that they let us borrow. They told us they'd take it back when I was older and their daughters were married, if they wanted it back. So they ended up doing that so now their younger daughter's daughter can learn. Its cool cuz their 2 daughters and now grand daughter are all learning piano. I admire people who are good in arts whether it is musical, dancing, or things like drawing and sculptures, etc.

I like the fact that we have an electric piano at my house where I live right now, so I can play when I want. I just need to make mroe time to do so.

Google myspace layouts or something like that and there are literally thousands of websites that will provide the HTML and then it's cut and paste right into your biography and wham, insta website!! 😀
