Not compared to njbmd. She already has a PhD, an MD, is finishing her residency in surgery, and now wants to go to law school. Now THAT is truly impressive motivation. :wow:

are you freakin serious?!?!?!? wow, i'd just be happy being a doc with his own practice or working in the ED. thats great for njbmd but thats just so not me.

One of the guys who's peripherally associated with USF medical school has 2 bachelor's degrees, 2 masters degrees a PhD and an MD.

Oh and he was once a former soccer player professionally and a teacher in a middle school for awhile.

in terms of degrees...i work with someone who got her MPH and then decided to get her DSc in epidemiology. now how's that for redundant??

I know this because my hometown of Chester, ILL. is where the creator Elzie Segar was born and modeled most of the characters off of river people from Chester back in the day.

Actually, I'm even wearing a Popeye sweatshirt today - weird!

😡 I don't understand how people can be so cruel sometimes...

A family member of mine works at a humane society. They had this dog come in, bleeding, whimpering in pain with a huge cancerous mass. It had been wandering around so they figured there was no owner because who would let their dog get to this point. They decided it would be cruel to let it live so they put it down. Turns out the dog had an owner and now he's raising all holy hell and has even got the media involved. Now the employees can't wear their uniform in public because they are being harassed by the public.

I can understand this guy's pain about losing an animal; I've been through it before it's rough. But I can't understand people being so cruel about what supposedly happened to an animal. 😡

Oh yeah.... I love that movie - one of my favs.

William Peterson is one that ages well - Like Patrick Stewart 😍 and Sean Connery 😍 and Pierce Brosnan 😍 and Viggo Mortenson 😍

I can't find Tom Hanks attractive though. Sorry. He looks too much like the Department Head of my former Ph.D. program (that guy was such a prima donna!).

Hmm, let me see if I remember -

The storyline about peeing - Meredith and Izzy are in the bathroom in the house in the morning. The orthopod (can't remember her name) that George is seeing came into the bathroom with just panties on and went to the bathroom, then left without washing her hands. Meredith and Izzy cracked up/were grossed out. They told George and he believed them which made the orthopod upset, who insisted that she washed her hands. At the end you find out that she washed her hands in the kitchen afterwards because she was freaked out about Meredith and Izzy being in the bathroom (my note: then why the heck was she comfortable peeing in front of them????)

Meredith and the veterinarian kiss at the end of the show - after Meredith discovers that he's kinda messed up like she is.

The main storyline was about a family that was in a car accident - the driver that struck them was a first year surgical intern at another hospital. One of the women in the accident was a pregnant woman. She ends up dying, and Alex saves the baby (which makes the she-Shepherd happy).

That's the jist of it anyway.

Ok, I am a bit freaked out...this move is timed down to a tea with little margin for error. And...our mover was supposed to be here 40 mins ago to plan this thing out. AGGH. :scared:
