I was drunk.
Kidding.. SOOOOO kidding. Ask jlw haw truly boring I am in that regard... I drank an O'Douls on Saturday night. ooh. Nothin' like the hard stuff.
honestly- what's the point of non-alcoholic beer? c'mon!
*waves to beary* Hello!
ok, highlights, highlights..... now does this count the people-watching in DC, or are we just going for the conference itself? I don't know that I learned a whole lot of new info, but it definitely shored up my confidence in some areas. like when people talk about digging out of their deep holes, it makes mine look more like a rut, so that was helpful.
😳 I was amazed at the diversity of the backgrounds of the participants- acting, retail, nursing, allied health, business, finance, you name it I think there was someone there from that field.
Probably the most important thing I took from the conference was to be non-apologetic about the past. It is what it is, it can't be changed, whether it be your grades, or your experiences.. If you can't be proud of what you have done, then be proud of who you've become since then, and the choices that you make now.
oh, and a sense of humor really seems to help.
😀
