A......sweetie i'm sorry that they focused a lot on your weaker areas but DON'T EVEN start doubting your ability--ok? You busted your ass to get ready for this thing--just give it time...and more vodka....and you will feel much better about all of this. It's over--try to focus on the stuff you know you did well on. When the scores come out we'll all be making fun of you for freaking out over nothing.

i dont know guys, its just wait and see now. there were lots and lots and lots and LOTS of guesses... well, maybe not that many but whenever i'm not 100% sure i call it a guess. :laugh: some of those questions were sooooo easy... the other 80% were i-n-s-a-n-e. i got lucky on embryo, i suck at it and they only asked a couple of questions. i wasnt very strong in micro and pharm though and that was like half my test. 😱 really, i like pharm but the pharm on this bitch was all "this patient is taking drugs a, b, c, d, e, and f. which med would you take him off to improve his problem with urinary urgency?" like i know the side effects of every drug... *smacks head* i was expecting mechanisms and these bastards hit me with drug interactions up and down... its like they were psychic and knew what to hit me with... bugs and drugs. :laugh:

i just hope i passed at this point. had i known a month ago what i know today i would have spent half my time on pharmacology and micro... seriously. in reality i spent maybe a week on those 2 combined. not smart. i was just hoping for something with more pathology and physiology that i could knock out of the park but this thing wasnt it. enough of this... i think i i did ok... i seriously tend to freak out about exams, whatever i wasnt sure on i think i got wrong. 🙄 i only slept maybe 4-4.5 hours last night, i was just to anxious i couldnt fall asleep. my heartbeat was seriously racing. when i woke up my eyes were RED. ok..... vodka vodka vodka... i need to pickle my brain to thank it for not studying more pharm and micro. :meanie:

man, and I thought the mcat was bad..........for some sick reason I am kinda more excited about med school after reading this 😀

The vamps were BrettBatchelor, Salamandrina, and myfavred.

Half of me wishes the game had gone on longer, and half of me was glad that it was done. I'm sure it didn't seem like much, but it really was an amazing amount of work. 🙂

Oh, and Nikki, I didn't make the avatars in the sense that I drew them or anything... I'm a horrible artist. There's a game called City of Heroes in which you can make your own superhero, so that's what I did for everyone.

My first rotation will be micro, which is known to be a pretty light rotation. That is good because I will get to be eased into things I guess. Next week we have ACLS training which I will never use in my entire life. Anyway, it went pretty well. As is so common, all that freaking out over nothing.

Now I can't wait to hear from A-man!

Oh and I got 3 long white coats with "Beary, MD, PhD" embroidered on them. Pretty cool. 😎

The basic rules for Werewolf/Mafia/Vampire (all the same game, really, with different terminology) can be found here . Brett said that he's going to start a game on Monday. Games happen in the Lounge .

I think on every big test like MCATs or boards you remember better the ones you didn't know and agonized about. If you just know the answer, you just click it and move on. But those ones you agonize and agonize about really stick in your head, so it seems like you didn't know more than there actually was. This is how I am anyway.
