Went to the FIL's house and we put together the grill we got him for Father's Day.

He made potato salad that was, well, BAD and we grilled year-old frozen burgers.

This sounds really really bad because my FIL is such a nice man, but I dread going to his house. He is a huge pack rat and his house smells like mold and mildew. And the food he cooks for us is really old and tastes terrible.

Unfortunately it's one of those things we gotta suck up. Usually we have family get-togethers at one of the other kids' houses, but the FIL insisted and prepared stuff yesterday.

I had to take my sister to a few of them 😎


I have my guilty pleasures too. Girlie movies. I like mean girls, princess diaries (1 and 2) , and the prince and me (1 and 2). I wanna be a princess. :laugh:


I was look at land for a vacation home (or just investment to buy) waterfront in this lake that is one of the only undeveloped lakes in OK, and the land was so expenseive. 🙁

I have been looking at getting a satellite radio/MP3 player when I have a bit more money. Apparently the reception is questionable indoors.

this hot dog eating thing is nasty--how can you eat 53 hot dogs in 12 minutes. ok confirmed reports of tornado touchdowns in my town!! :scared: but no damage so far because the tornados seemed to have touched down in cornfields (imagine that!)

confession: I own the DVD and the CD sountrack to 10 Things I Hate About You. I try to excuse it by saying "Well it's an update of Taming of the Shrew", but I don't think I'm even fooling myself...
