I'm going to get artsy pictures done of my girls I think. 😀 Hopefully it won't cost an arm and a leg. I e-mailed a couple photographers today to set up consultations.

Question: So I check my checking account yesterday and have X amount of dollars. This is consistent with the hotel charging my room. Today I check my account and now have Y dollars which is $500 more than yesterday. As far as I know nothing was deposited. I don't have internet statements :kicks self for being too lazy to signup: and won't be able to contact my bank until Mon.

What would you do?

Leave it for now. Don't go crazy spending it, but maybe something was deposited that you don't know about.

I'd just pretend that extra $500 that isn't supposed to be there isn't there. Then I'd recheck on Monday and see what it says online before calling (but I hate hate hate calling people)

Thank goodness for wireless internet and laptops. They're both outside now and I can still hang out on SDN outside and watch them. 😀

Well I had been checking through the ATM. I dunno. I'm going to talk to the hotel people about it first and see what they have charged thus far.

....I really need a credit card. Even though I despise them, it looks like I need one.

I love my backyard. It's 95 degrees here today but our backyard faces east so it's shaded by the house in the afternoon. It's miserable out back in the morning but the afternoons are perfect. I can just hang out on the deck and watch the girls and the doggies (until my laptop battery dies anyway).

I have a screened in porch that overlooks the pond. I 😍 sitting out there in the evenings. It is very peaceful.

The heat indices here this weekend are supposed to be 105-110. Even though the sun isn't out right now, it's just too humid to comfortably sit outside.

That's hot!! We have very little humidity here during the summer so that is very nice. It makes the 100+ degree days tolerable.

Something like that happened to me this year. My apartment withdraws rent directly from my checking, as part of a fraction split between my 4 other roommates. One time, they deposited what looked like the amount equal to one months rent (the entire rent!) :laugh: It was gone the next day 🙁
