Okay, now that I am done cleaning that up...I wanted to ask:
Williams- Do you know of any good hotels in that area that are really cheap? My friend lives about 20 miles from UCF, and I have a feeling it will take too long to commute.

thanks sweetie, yeah...... in a way i'm nervous because its from the same people as the USMLE (its supposed to be representative of the peds questions on Step 2) but I'm not totally freaking out because I dont think my team mates know much more than i do so....... whatever. 🙂

I am going to go read a little EK bio and prob fall asleep while doing so. Tomorrow will be a long day, between work, and cramming before the PT on Saturday.

got your messages! no, i dont know anything about the test sites at USF and UF. I took the mcat twice, once at UM and once at Nova in ft.lauderdale. That Nova test site was AWESOME, padded chairs that swiveled and reclined and since it was in one of those auditoriums with the long table that serves as a common desk for everyone in the row we had PLENTY of desk space since they spaced us one seat apart from the next person. in a way, it was the perfect test site but i know you're not going to take it in ft.lauderdale, i'm just reminiscing. :laugh: the one at UM i didnt like at all, it was small desks in classrooms... 👎

No idea, sorry. I moved back from Gainesville just this past May. Even though I lived in Orlando before, it was on the West side, now I'm on the East. One thing that I have noticed is that there are very few hotels on this side. Most were on the side I used to live on because of Universal and Disney.

I'm about to go to sleep. I didn't do any MCAT studying today. 🙁 I'm too tired right now and I'm going to wake up at 7:30 AM for F1 🙂

thanks nik. you know what sucks though? i got the email today from the ob/gyn people and looking at the other students that are going to be on that rotation with me.... its gonna suck. some of the biggest assh***s in my class are gonna be on that rotation with me. what a contrast to this one where i can honestly say i liked nearly everyone from the beginning. at least there are a couple of people that are gonna be on that rotation with me that i think are awesome so i hope we're on the same team.

if they want to act immature, rude, selfish--then whatever--they don't get it and they probably never will. With people like that....i just never allow myself to stoop to their level no matter how pissed i get. Sometimes they will come around if they feel like they can trust you. I hope these aren't the same people that are gonna be with you on the rest of your rotations? 😡

I have.. this old pillowcase (kind of) in the shape of a turtle, with little legs, head, and tail.. with a pillow still inside of it. I think I got it when I was five, which makes it older than the majority of you. It's stuffed up in a closet in my spare bedroom.

Oh- and my original Cabbage Patch Kid from 1983? 84? with her original clothes. I have no idea where her birth cert is tho.

my mom often likes to tell me about how she had to battle huge crowds of crazy women to get me my first cabbage patch doll. You know--when toys r us would get a shipment, everyone would wait outside until the store opened and then make a mad dash back to the doll aisle. It's this little bald boy--she said it was the only one she could grab without getting into a huge catfight

I've been trying to find a bear that is similar to my 28 y/o one. My hubby tried to find one on ebay for me. I've really been looking hard to find a sibling. Haven't been able to. Hard to find one from 1978 or so ...

yeah, the only reason I got mine was b/c a friend of my brother lived with his grandparents... and his grandpa got a coupon-thingy for ToysrUs which made you eligible to buy a CPK, and since they didn't have any granddaughters, he gave it to my parents.

mine just so happens to have the initials JLW! (she's Joan Lila, which is one of the only "normal-named" CPKs I've ever seen)
