My kitty is sitting on my lap snuggling right now. Ok he's a 20-lb kitty.
AWW. I love kitty's. I'm not as mad at my kitty this morning. I am gonna try what Mush said and get two litter boxes. I just don't want them in the apartment. The other box is outside on the patio/porch thing.

my school doesn't have a committee, therefore I'm on my own. this MD doesn't know she's writing me a LOR yet. but she will. :meanie:

 :meanie:

I think I'll get mine to write me one so I have a trump card to play when it comes time for desperate "update letter season."

well, I told megboo the other day-

I have a doc I work with in my private practice who said to me one day that he really owed me big for hanging in there with 2 of our mutual patients. so I said "Yeah, you DO owe me. And here's how you're going to pay me back....I need a LOR next year."

what the hell- why not try, right? he did say yes... :hardy:

Dear (Insert Name Here),

I just wanted to tell you how excited I am at the prospect of attending your medical school in (Insert Location Here) next year because of (Insert Reason for Undying Love Here). Since then, I've been investing a lot of my time in (Insert Worthy Cause Here) and assisting (Insert Dr/Nurse/Specialty Here) which has only confirmed my passion for medicine.

Should you have any further questions or need any additional information, do no hesitate to contact me.

Thanks for your time,

Are you currently in school, or did you already graduate Dr. D?

I'm about to be a senior. Unlike most on this thread, I'm about as traditional an applicant as they come.

We should give nominations as to who will open Random thread number 4 since this thread is fast coming to an end!!!!!!!!! muahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!! :meanie: :meanie: :meanie:

Ha, I just got the best recruitment email to date. UPenn's combined VMD-PhD program whose tagline is "Many Species-One Medicine."

Whohoo score twin! If you know what's good for you, you best reciprocate love towards my alma mater.....
Don't worry - I'll very much show them the love back. Now that I'm in Houston I'll start working on the secondary.

But I'm kinda a high maintance girl. I'd like to have a bit of sparkly before I commit. (and by "sparkly" I mean full scholarship)

just kidding.
