Hey question,

I never took any AAMC practice tests last spring and was wondering if they are actually real copies of old MCATs or just made up of random AAMC approved passages?

i almost certain that they are all passages that were used in actual mcats

Come to think of it, I did take one of the really old ones at a Kaplan center ( i think AAMC #3 or one of those) but it sucked because it was all dirty and you couldn't write on it because it was laminated. It seemed easy but the scale was brutal

If I could do it over, I would have saved the money spent on kaplan class and studied from those materials and used aamc practice tests

I'm taking my last PT tommorrow. 😱 We'll see how it goes then I'll make a prediction. I'm hoping I can buck my declining trend.

it looks like a remote control--they use them a lot at my university in large lecture courses. we used it in o-chem---the prof would put up questions and students used their keypads to answer--it tallies how many people got it right and keeps track of your individual responses--our prof also used to give bonus points for attendance. You can also use them to take exams but we never did this.

we used those a few times during the first two years of med school but the school provided them for us, we didnt have to buy them. we only used them like 3 times in the whole 2 years though so that might be why, we would just check them out for an hour and then return them.

Yeah, I just got an e-mail from her website telling me not to access it anymore or they'll report me to Comcast (my ISP). Unfortunately for their empty threat, there is nothing wrong in visiting a legal website (I knew my years in tech support for Earthlink would come in handy!).

Even SDN doesn't ban people for defending themselves!

the best is when she wrote on the other website that I called the mother of a little girl named Shayla I used to see trash. I'll have to tell her about that tomorrow - we're going shopping in the afternoon together!

That's where I drew the line - putting words in my mouth. But it's a waste of energy now. Oxeye was completely right - she's a professional victim.

You can't reason with the unreasonable! I'm just going to leave it alone and see what happens when her post-hold is up. You are all witnesses!

yeah, i dont even know when my next meeting with my group is so it might not even be scheduled until the end of the week. we're waiting on the faculty member that leads the group to get back to us with when to meet her.
