I can't stand football...which is a problem since my hubby can live without it. They guy just bought a 56" TV...and it took me WAY too long to figure out the timing of the whole thing. Wel, well, well...does bigger make the game better? I mean, what if your team is losing? Does it make it worse? I hate when the Redskins lose...he is in an awful mood and actually believe that he has just cause. WTF???

nope, i've been living in boston (i.e. patriots/red sux country) and i am most definitely still a steelers fan, so i will still do it in FL. actually, the steelers & pirates have a pretty big fan base in FL.

We have some good friends here in Orlando that are HUGE Steelers fans.

Are the verbal passages always on the left page and questions on the right?

I print mine out front and back and seem to lose a lot of time flipping the page over and back to re/reread questions and passage pieces.

You think that's bad? I don't even print mine out and just end up scrolling up and down forever. That wastes a TON of time, but then again I don't even practice bubbling in answers. I just write the letter down.

Btw, I woke up at 9:45, ha!

My alarm was set. I woke up. Didn't feel like getting out of bed so I went back to sleep. 🙂 Come Saturday, I will probably wake up 5 minutes before my alarm and be wide awake. That always happens when I have a big exam in the morning.

It shouldn't be too bad. I've been doing all my AAMC tests on the computer. At first I thought it would be terrible, but you definitely get used to it.

Nah, I'm a big chicken :laugh: Decided to take it in January instead. Freakin weird cause I thought my worst section would be PS since I hated physics with a passion, but it actually turned out to be my best section on the practice exams....but verbal on the other hand was like a roller coaster ride....and I hate roller coasters even more than I hate physics 😉 .

Yeah my verbal fluctuates the most too. I'm just hoping for a peak on Saturday. If not, I'll just retake since I'm not applying this cycle.

Well I really wanted to apply for '07 but the whole MCAT thing didn't work out this year. I really wanna kick a$$ this January. At least I'll be really early in my application for '08.

RAD, I got away with studying in July because of no job or school. Most here weren't in that situation so they had to start earlier. I put in a lot of time everday. Don't worry so much about it, I'm sure you'll do fine. I just focused on BS and PS because I know the returns would be great for those areas if I put more work into those. VR isn't the same unfortunately.

Yep. 🙂 I may be at a slight disadvantage without being able to apply earlier, but I pretty much want to stay in-state (FL). I think I'm not getting hurt too bad, but we'll see!

Yeah, I definitely saw improvements in the sciences just from reviewing materials and the practice tests that I took. For now, I'm just trying to get my verbal strategies straight.

lol, sometimes I check the tests DURING my practice exams. Talk about being impatient. I mainly do it because it's faster and I don't want to waste time after I'm done going over 200+ questions.

RAD, I haven't submitted AMCAS yet. I have yet to write a PS, but that will take an hour max. I know exactly what I will write so it's just getting it down and proof reading that will take the time.

Other than that, my app is filled out. I'm still waiting for them to get my transcript from my community college classes I took in high school (this pissed me off, it's on my UF transcript). After they get that in and it's okay, I'll submit my application.

I also wanted to wait til after Saturday just to make sure I take the exam. Who knows if something came up where I wouldn't be able to take it. I rather not be short of $400 and be forced to apply for 08.

Sometimes I'll even spend a couple minutes going over a detailed solution in BS and PS during the timed exam to see wtf I did so wrong. It all works out in the end 🙂

Anywho, I just finished winning an Ebay auction so now I have to get to studying. Time to read ALL the EK books AGAIN for the final time. YAY!
