When I took the MCAT, there were a bunch of people I recognized from my O. Chem and genetics classes the year before.

I wonder if we will all end up classmates in medical school. 😉

I'd love to know how they did on the MCAT! 😀

True. That would be weird.

I've tried to keep where I live and am applying fairly hidden, but if someone was really, really, really determined I'm sure they could figure out who I am, what city I live in, go to school now, etc.

Seriously. Coming from the non-trad perspective of "I worked hard to earn the money to pay for this class, so STFU!" I was never hesistant to badger the crap out of the people who wanted to sit behind me in the third or fourth row and talk the whole hour away.

If you want to turn class into social hour, sit in the back. Hello!

no kidding!! I just shelled out $1300 yesterday to pay for classes and parking this next semester. Not a lot, but without financial aid it hurts!!! I'll be paying it off for a few months. 🙁

So yeah .... I'm going to adopt your attitude and tell the annoying people to STFU from now on. 😀

Although, I must admit, the most annoying premed at my school that I ever met was a year behind me.

Yeah, don't come to OChem lab wearing your scrubs and your hospital nametag on a bigass lanyard that you flip around to the back. You look like a *****.

I'm just saying. 🙂

I agree, I am a total susher and proud of it....I think people who talk a lot during class are just a-holes

I loved the people showing up in scrubs to the freshman level bio class. 😉

nah, if you weren' confident about the MCAT you wouldn't being doing it, you are going to do fine.

I am going to Atlantic City with my gf and family later this week, I will probably try some low stakes blackjack but probably avoid poker tables.

And, ya know, if you want to talk about the class, I'm OK with that. If you don't understand something, or what have you, that's fine.

But don't sit there and talk about the volunteer experience that your daddy got you, or how your kickass MCAT score guarantees you admission at such and such school, or how awesome you did on your last homework.

Because that will label you forever as a complete tool.

i also hate it when people get cell phone calls....and answer them in class! 😱

🙂 I actually met my ex-boyfriend that way, in Sociology class.

Turns out he was on call for work and *had* to answer it. But it pissed me off at the time!

I knew a guy who rarely showed up for lecture or discussion. He was the same one who showed up on MCAT morning asking, "Do people actually study for this?" I often wonder what happened to him... 🙂
