It's amazing how many of these wackos have had troubled childhoods. The latest is that this JonBenet suspect was almost burned to death by his mother when he was a baby.

I don't think he did it.

He claims he picked her up from school and took her to her parents' basement. It was Christmas break, no school.

He claims he drugged her and raped her. There were no drugs in her system. Her hymen was intact upon autopsy and nothing anal, either.

He claims he choked her by accident. Instead, her head was busted open and was choked slowly with a hand-made device.

The guy's ex-wife (EX!!!) claims he was in Alabama.

He's written numerous papers on her death.

It doesn't add up. He wants attention and wanted out of Thailand on a free ride. He is an attention *****.

Yea I don't know if he did it or not, but he's still a wack job either way

I think there were two people involved. One who actually killed her and this Karr guy who wrote the note and was there for whatever other reasons

I have no clue who did it. It's been 10 yrs and nothing has happened. Heck, did anyone ever find out who killed Michael Jordan's dad? I rather be interested in that and hope that gets solved than this.

Karr was involved somehow, although he may not have actually killed her. That handwriting is spot on imo.

I still think her mother did it. But, that's just me. Does anyone else get a "Silence of the Lambs" Buffalo Bill impression when they look at this guy?

I think Michigan vs. Vanderbilt would make a better Mathletics competition than a football game

Well hey, at least he doesn't look like a pedo.

boo hiss

I have a slight fever and a sore throat and I don't want to go to work. But I was out all last week b/c the family was in town, so I have to make money this week. Better find that bottle of extra-strength Tylenol...

(I did call in sick to the hospital this morning. Figured I didn't want what the kiddos have and vice versa.)

I'm a Boilermaker-by-proxy

Meaning that if I don't cheer for Purdue, my brother beats me up 😛

I'm a Hoosier-by-proxy I guess... my girlfriends whole family went to IU and she's going to law school there now... whenever I mention how Purdue is better at this and that than IU, things get pretty interesting

I imagine. Way back when, as I was applying to undergrad schools, I applied to (and was accepted at) IU. If memory serves, the primary purpose of my application was to piss off my brother, who was a soph at Purdue.

Alas, I did not wind up going there, and the word "hoosier" has a completely different meaning where I live now....

haha you tryin to start somethin here? :meanie:

Funny thing is, i'm friends with Chad Henne, I went to high school with him (same high school that Kerry Collins went to also) and I played baseball with him. He's actually a really nice guy. When he went to Michigan over PSU it was like a huge deal in this area.....like he was "betraying" our state. He came up to visit penn state last year though and the fame hasn't really changed him, he's still a good guy......but damn him for that play!

where and what does it mean ?

I was wearing one of those IU shirts that just says "Hoosiers" on the front... and a Hispanic kid in one of my classes asked me why I was wearing a shirt that has a synonym for "Honkie" on the front and if it was a joke...

Michigan and Penn St. pretty much guarantee a great game between each other every year... that overtime win a couple years back was pretty crazy too... Big Ten will be interesting this year with pretty much nothing seperating Penn St., Michigan, Ohio St. and Iowa

yeah, I usually stumble over to the stadium on Saturdays

Definitions 1 and 5

another example (more personal)- "before I got the new car, the dent in the bumper of my old one was soooooo hoosier..."

Yes that game was awesome. I don't know how good PSU will be this year, but I would bet on another great game when Michigan comes to Happy Valley saturday night this year, i'll be there

the drunken insanity of College Football night games is one of the greatest things on earth

Back in middle schools, some kids would use the term like that. Now I use it for the tire brand more than anything. Hoosier tires. 😎

it's still a very active term among all age groups around here 😳

and for the record, as one of the UD defs says, it's VERY confusing to move here and not know how the term is used. I spent the first few weeks of undergrad looking around going "WTF? I don't see anyone with an IU shirt on. who's she talking about?"

I haven't seen my cat in a few days (he's an outdoor cat). Maybe he's dead? j/k!

😱

my new kitten is going to be strictly indoor... but he's so damn crazy already I don't know if I'll be able to keep him in... he decided to take a nap in my open window yesterday... that is he climbed up the screen, lodged himself between the upper window and the screen, and decided to take a nap

Ours was an indoor cat for about 6 months. He was in one room only and kept trying to dig underneath the door ripping out carpet. We eventually let him outside and he's a lot happier. It depends on the cat imo.

Speaking of which, my brother just got back from class and brought the cat in, so he's alive! He's 8 or 9 years old right now so he's used to outdoors. We bring in him a lot, though, and he sleeps on my bed during the day.

we had two outdoor cats that used to terrorize all the birds, rabbits and mice around my house... the neighbors had a bird house about 5 or 6 feet up and it was amazing to see one of them jump and stun the birds by swatting them down and then pouncing on them... the neighbors didn't find it as amusing as I did though... we finally had to give them away since they were both males and their spraying competition was getting way out of hand when they were inside the house. They're at my friends farm now though, so I'm sure they're happy

I've been wanting a wild cat. This guy in Orlando that lives close to me has a license to have them. He has a pen in his backyard, I think it's like 20'x20'x6'. It's an African Serval. He's looking to get a cheetah next. He used to keep the cat in his house and he had to sleep with it at night for them to bond (so it wouldn't be a crazy cat). Once his kid was born, they put it in the backyard. I want a mountain lion or black jaguar or something...

wow... that'd be kind of fun. Is this kind of thing allowed outside of crazy Florida ?

Yea, this other guy up on Long Island knows someone. His gf's aunt is a vet. She has a few bobcats, an alligator, mountain lion, and black jaguar in her backyard. The black jaguar is kinda mean to people so even she's afraid of entering the pen sometimes. The mountain lion thinks it's still a cub and jumps on people (the family used to play a game with it when it was young. They'd sit in a circle and throw the cub to eachother).

For FL, the guy said you need a Fish Game, and Wildlife License. It requiers 1,000 hours of experience with the animals to get. A lot of other states are the same.

That would be interesting. I would like a larger cat but not large enough to eat me.

That's why I adopted Pete - he's a big cat, but soooooo cuddly. And fixed and declawed.

My cat is fixed and declawed, too. He's an outdoor cat and he STILL kills birds and everything. He can climb trees, too. I don't know how, but he's just awesome.
