I have LOR2 but have never gotten into it, which is surprising considering that LOTR has been a major influence in my life.

*considers logging on to WoW*
It's funny - my husband liked LOR1 but didn't really get into it. He felt the same about LOR2 until he tried the online games. He's completely addicted now. This is what he was like with Starcraft when I first met him.

I need to start playing WoW one of these days. I'm so scared to get too addicted, though. 😉 I'm not going to have as much computer time once the semester starts.

My year off has been kind of nice!!

Please do!! You and Molly and me can go on epic quests together. 😀

I have 4 characters of various levels and skills and professions, and am probably going to start a TROLL mage soon.

My mom has all different sorts of characters too. 🙂

It looks like a really fun game. I know it's not as bad as EQ in terms of addiction, but I'm still scared.

I used to call my mom when she was playing EQ. And I'd be talking to her and realize she wasn't really paying attention to me so I'd say something weird. "Mom, I have this really big frog in my hair." And she's respond "Oh that's great honey."

  I've done the same in reverse to my mom when she calls me while I'm playing.

Really pisses her off.

OMG, I don't know how bad WoW gets for people but I wouldn't be surprised if EQ broke up marriages!

I really want a NEW MMORPG with a sci-fi theme. I know they have existed in the past, but want a new one with brand new technology. WoW is awesome, but I sometimes cannot really get into the story.

Sci-fi?? Like Starcraft? That's a strategy game, though.

The only games I know anything about are the ones my mom, sister, and husband play.

Okay here's a question - did anyone else here play Sierra games? I loved those!!!

Kings Quest, Space Quest, Heroes Quest. I never got into Police Quest.

The early games were the best. I loved when you still had to type all the commands. They got boring when they went to the mouse format. I stopped playing completely by Kings Quest VII I think. That's when they just had a stupid wand that would light up if you could do anything. It took all the thought out of the game.

World of Starcraft is in development.

Wahhhhhhhh someone needs to give me a recap of what happened in the last 10 pages cuz I will be here whole day if I'm trying to catch up.

You're not missing much.

I know this is an old convo for me, but just wanted to add that I'm not a fan of Ihop much either. I like Cracker Barrel the best for country chain restaurants. But that's only if I want breakfast food.

First watch is pretty good too because it is healthier and has some sort of neat dishes.

We ate at the Awful House a few mornings on our honeymoon. Good food. It started in GA and they take cash only. We found that out when my husband went to pay with our debit card and he ended up having to leave me as collateral while he ran to the bank.

The other funny one is where the guy dances after he isn't the father.

I remember seeing one of those kinda shows some years back and there was this woman who had been on the show 2 times. Both times none of the guys turned out to be the father. That just shows how slutty these women are and really need to stop acting like ******. People like that make me sick.

She just crazy in that thread. I don't know what it is about SDN, but she's pretty reserved on other sites.

Oh well. A troll is a troll and I think she's working at being one.

I heard from Oxeye that she's not that much better on the other forums either. She did the same thing in a thread in preallo some months back. It was about Howard.
