Waffle Shop is definitely a Southern thing from what I know

I believe they moved their headquarters to NY a few years back (and caused quite the stir about it... this was when they really started achieving notoriety). But they still have a branch office here.

Can you get the Onion for free everywhere? I just thought of that.

omg grits suck. they only person i've met that likes them is my mom. she puts butter on them and she thinks they're the greatest......ew ew ew. but she ate them when she was little so that's probably why

Nope, you have to pay for a subscription if you want it out here.

So worth it, though. 😉

Oh, wow.

Here you can pick it up for free everywhere. Coffee houses, bookstores, groceries, every single freaking building on campus, you get the idea.

Of course, there are a ton of local ads to pay for it, but because they're in the Onion, they are generally hilarious and/or risque, so that's all part of the fun, too.

Yeah, we get to see your ads. 😉 It's funny because they don't apply to us at all.

The subscription isn't cheap - around $40 for a year I think. I'd love it if I could pick up a copy anywhere. That would be so cool!
