I'm going to have a nice big bruise on my butt tomorrow morning.

I got up a minute ago to use the bathroom, slipped on a puddle of water, and down I went. Ouch! 🙁

OOOH So Sorry Oxeye! That sounds painful!

I like the sound of Dr. Oxeye. I was planning to use my maiden name in practice but this sounds so much better.

I've got no idea what I'm going to do about all of that.

I'm not very enamored of my birth last name... it's not phonetically pleasing and all of my father's extra-marital hijinks have made it less so.

That said, I did not change my name when I got married (honestly, the hyphenated combo sounded like an alcholic beverage) and I'm divorced now, and I doubt that I will be married to my bf or anyone else by the time I graduate.

I've honestly considered changing my name to my mother's maiden name but that seems like a lot of work.

So I don't know what I'm going to do. Probably stick with the status quo, I suppose. But I'm not thrilled about it.

🙁 Sorry Molly. That sucks.

I won't use my husband's name for several reasons - it's not pronounced like it's spelled, and it's very uncommon and my husband needs to keep us listed for his business.

So I'll use my maiden name - easy to say, spell, but not common (so I won't be one of 50 Dr. Smiths in town). 🙂

I could never be a badass. I've always been too afraid of getting in trouble.

Stupid I know.

I think the worst thing I've ever done is TP/egg a house.

It's fun to be a badass on the inside. That way, you get to surprise people. 🙂

🙁 Hopefully not much.

Geez, I hope not. I like to do my weekly work-week countdown, but can't, since I don't know if I am working Sat. or not. My suspicion is I will work Saturdays and have Sundays off.

Yeah, you should! That's what I do when I'm at my folks. Just carry my laptop and power adapter with me everywhere I go. 😀

Sounds like a plan to me!

You parents have my ultimate respect. I don't think I could do it.

Or I could get a new computer battery. It's two years old - isn't that when they are supposed to be replaced anyway?
