A short quiz:

In the Random Non-MCAT thread you are allowed to discuss all of the following EXCEPT:

A.) Breaststicks
B.) the MCAT
C.) cake
D.) VD

If you chose B then congrats! You are ready to begin postwhoring in the Random non-MCAT and only peripherally related to the MCAT thread - Part Quatro 😎

Blue Angels is something that everyone needs to see. I saw them last Fall up in Gainesville. Very cool. I know someone who is friends with a fighter pilot. The pilot actually got to be one of the Blue Angels for a season. He said he got pretty bored of it quickly and preferred doing missions instead like he normally would do instead of shows. I can't say I blame him.

I've seen them down in Pensacola. Neat-o!

My favoriate aircraft is the Harrier!

Good morning everyone! Up early to study for my calc final today (for like 30 minutes, then off).

Isn't that overture like 20 minutes long? I think a clip from the cannon/exploding parliament sections would be an excellent choice however.

are you saying I'm not worth it?

*goes in corner and sulks*

*gasp* I never meant to imply such a thing.

I was just trying to ensure you'd get fireworks for such a glorious moment as opposed to a lull in a long musical movement.

*wipes away crocodile tears, sneaks a peek at Durden to see if he's paying attention. He's not. starts sobbing uncontrollably until he acknowledges the pain he's caused me.*

Turn that frown upside down! 🙂

The day my friends and I were craving cheesecake and realized that you could pull up next to The Cheesecake Factory at the mall, send someone inside with a cell phone who could read off all the different types available, and essentially get "cheesecake to go" was a very very very good day.
This is bad. I did this in KC and came home with $50 in cakes 😛

Always around when no one else is. Blah. I don't think my internet connection works up in my room either 🙁 I have to study for the GRE now. I'm such the fun girl.

Can't decide if I should apply with GRE or MCAT. I was planning on taking the MCAT anyways next year.

Hmm... what should I postwhore about today?

Any requests?

/cue lounge singer act

MMORPGs.

I would also recommend Berlioz's Funeral and Triumphant Symphony as an excellent post-whoring celebration. (The triumphant part. )

I must listen to that tonight actually. I haven't listened to that in a long time.

With the advent of the personal computer in the 1980s, the already extremely geeky 😍 RPG audience naturally turned to computers to enhance their gaming experiences. Early computer RPG's were either text-based or had crap graphics, but often times had a good storyline and were quite fun to play. Many if not most of the more popular ones were based on pre-existing P&P RPGs.
