bye peeps-- :luck: to anyone else taking this today

bye nikki...

I heard the song too, but the chorus lyrics don't make sense.

Apparently, london bridge = sex, but I don't get the connection. 😕

Q is a blue cross. WTF? When did this happen?

Beary: That crap is nasty. I'm usually good about that kind of thing but it really made me nauseous looking at it. :barf:

I brought a bouncing baby kidney stone into the world this morning at 5 am. 😱 I think I need to start drinking more water again. I'm still really really sore. 🙁

Check out his posts in the Non-Calc Physics thread... They are his finest. I think DR. EUGENIC found a way to hack into his account.... 😴

EDIT: The thread was in pre-allo and was closed.

Oh VD, I'm soooooo sorry!! As a fellow kidney stoner, I feel your pain. 🙁

Less caffeine, more water. 😉

Feel better!

*looks down at remains of 5th cup of coffee* Well, crap.

I was really good about the water thing for two weeks after my kidney stone. It went downhill from there. 😉 Fortunately no repeat episodes yet, but I'm stocked up on percocet (did you hear that Beary? ) just in case.

My dad wanted to give me a shot of morphine so I could sleep, but I refused. So I just went through that only on the barbituates I had for my headaches (don't know if it even made a dent). If that's what childbirth is like, I'm SOOO getting an epi.

Maybe he needed to spend more time studying and less time here and needed to get himself banned to keep himself from posting. 😉

What do I need to bring to the race tomorrow?

tickets
money
sunglasses
hat
sunscreen
ear plugs
satellite radio
cell phone
camera + fresh batteries
water

Anything else I am missing? I have never been to a race before!! 😎

It is SUPER foggy here today. I don't know if they would run the race under these conditions.

VD, I am so sorry that this happened to you. 🙁

I have never had a kidney stone but have heard it is terribly painful.

Did you send in the stone for chemical analysis? 😉

The only thing I did was curse at it and flip it off before flushing it down to oblivion.

Why did you refuse morphine?? Are you nuts????? And what is an opthamologist doing with morphine?? Isn't that kind of like beary the pathologist prescribing percocet?

Kidney stone pain is on the same level of pain as childbirth - just different. For me at least, contractions hurts more but I could deal with them better because it wasn't constant like the kidney stone.

Heh, my A&P II instructor tried to convince us all that kidney stones were worse than childbirth.

 I can see why an opthalmologist would prescribe morphine, because some of those eye things look super painful. But I did sort of wonder about him having a shot of it lying around his house.

Lee knows nothing about it. I still haven't heard anything from one of the other admins by PM or in response to my post in the mod forum. So either Lee is playing a trick on me, which doesn't seem to be his style, or one of the other admins did it and forgot to let me know, which is your theory, or someone screwed up somewhere. I think that options two or three are the most reasonable.

are you off both days this weekend beary?

I am!!!!! It is absolutely wonderful.

Today, I am mostly going to rest. I am very tired. And clean up my house, pay bills, etc., and get ready for the NASCAR race tomorrow! I want to leave at the crack of dawn for that. I am SO SO excited.

Watch the race at Michigan, tomorrow on TNT at 2 eastern! I'll be in row 12, right at the start/finish line!!! WOOHOO!!

Well, it will make it easier to post-hold people today! 😉 Red crosses can't do that right?

to promote you an admin would have to select "super moderators" from the primary user group drop down list and then save your profile changes. the super moderator option is on ther other end of the list too from "moderator". i'm sure it was theory #2, #3 just seems way too unlikely that they would change your status in the drop down list and then save the changes to your profile accidently.

Because of his hip surgeries. His ortho trusted him with the morphine and my dad never ended up using it.
