I just got back from seeing it. It was hilarious, but it's pretty intense at other times as well....I sincerely doubt that I'll ever use an airplane lavatory again. :meanie:

I am kind of scared to see it. I am scared of snakes, and scared of planes, and even though that movie looks really funny, I am afraid I will have issues the next time I hop on a plane. :laugh:

To be perfectly honest, if those things scare you, I wouldn't advise seeing it. I came into the film expecting nothing but laughs, and while it was funny, there were some intense moments. Probably not enough to scare you off of a plane, but certainly enough to make you yelp or have a nightmare.

But in comparison to a real horror movie, it's nothing (it's more of a shock factor than horror).

Naw - we just had a bunch left over. We were supposed to shoot them off last weekend at a family get together for my husband and his brother's birthday, but the neighbors complained and called the cops 😡 Then at 9pm THEY started shooting off fireworks!

So, we have some good friends in our neighborhood who are building a new house out in the country and had a little fireworks party last night.

It was fun and with no one around no cops were called!

Eh... it was pretty benign. We had all these firework laying around and big boxes that said "KABOOM" and "TNT". The cop asked if we were lighting off fireworks and we of course said "No sir!" He knew we were, but since we had already quit from the neighbor's complaints, he didn't write us a ticket just gave us a warning.

on another note.... we're getting a new kitten today! I feel like our cat, Pete needs a friend.

i've been following the Ali G characters ever since he was still in Britain... and it's definitely Borat's time to shine :laugh: It's funny how the Brit's were more amused with the white guy acting black bit, and the Americans are amused by the goofy foreigner

because all i want out of life is to be a surgeon i dont want to get married or have a family, dont want a big house with a pool ,..to have an airplane or the fastest car.....just to have a job that makes a difference and i'll be happy

i'll do anything to get into medical school...........and so i have begun to re visit last years course work in hopes of getting A's next year.

How does the school system work there exactly? I've gotten the impression that your high school grades determine graduate school for you?

Would it be possible for you to move and go to college in another country - and apply to medical school from there?

It pisses me off so much to hear people crap on other people's dreams. It's all about drive and determination. You're smart enough to get there; don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
