Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Congratulations to everyone who made Part 4 such a kickass thread!!!

And thank you to the ever generous, intelligent, lovely, and kind Nichole, who let me start the thread even though she won the last one. 🙂

One week here and it actually ends tomorrow. I can switch out of P/F to graded for another seven weeks though, just not the other way around.

I wish I took some P/F (S/U at our school) classes. I had a tight schedule and everything required a grade. I say it sucks that way, can't take it to enjoy and worried about gpa.

I keep thinking that I'm going to coast into graduation but I have 2 of the hardest physics classes and P/F Biochem ahead of me. 😱

That definitely sucks. Hopefully this will be as interesting as I hope it will be.

At least I don't have to worry about adcoms seeing the result of this experiment in the arts. 😎

P/F biochem? I think schools would be interested in your grade. It is a fun class imo...
Well I'm taking it my senior year so they won't see the grade until later anyways. I hope to be traveling cross country interviewing so I feel like I'd be missing a crap load of hard classes.

Quantum in any of those physics course titles? I can't imagine P/F lessening the pain of biochem much. I would have done the same thing though to prep for next fall, but it conflicts with a required course.

I have two demanding senior "capstone" design courses in the spring, but otherwise I'm on the lookout for two easy courses to both keep my full-time student status and my GPA's virginity. 😎

Heh...I'm doing a BA in Physics and Quantum isn't required. 😀
All the other physics people hate me for that.

It's Advanced E&M and Advanced Mechanics. For E&M 73+ is an A if that tells you anything about the class. Both are Fall only so I have to take them both.

I figure Baby Biochem (survey) is doable pass/fail with those 2.

ok, muzak's playing, and we've both got work to do. when shall we reconvene?

(remember- no secondaries= no interviews= no homemade oatmeal butterscotch cookies with extra real vanilla thrown in b/c you can never put in too much vanilla)

I assure you, Biz school is a cakewalk compared to BME courses.

I owned biochem, which was taught by the UF med school. The law class (it's not business, more like first year law classes) OWNED everyone. I've never had to write that much even for my freakin' comp classes. Add to the fact we were required to go to court to watch a trial. Fan-f'n'tastic on my schedule, lol.

Durden, my contrapositive friend, don't be pressured to say "yes."

What's a capstone course?

 So there is a difference between BA and BS. I always thought it was just arbitrary. I'm sure you'll be fine in biochem though, either baby or manly. Look on the bright side: you'll be primed for some serious senior slacking the following spring, hopefully with an acceptance in hand. 👍

LOL...I think I approached the too much vanilla thing with my baking mishap this weekend. I accidently put in 2 tbsps (almost half a bottle), not 2 tsps. It was the artificial stuff though

If you ever go to Sea World, the smell of their building reeks of something that will stay in your head forever.

The professor I do research with goes to Antarctica and he says that both in the tip of chile and in antarctica the penguins wreak and are totally nasty in smell.

Yeah the BA only takes like 32 physics hours, BS takes like 41 physics hours.
It's funny because the least physicsy person (me) is the president of the society of physics students.

:scared: Where did the time go?!!

If cookies with extra vanilla and xanax aren't an incentive to get to work, I don't know what is. Night all!

Big hairy design project that lasts all semester and is the culmination of all the enginerd knowlege we've accrued over the years.

Ah, I see. I'm not fluent in enginerd 😉

I was at a conference (for something other than engineering), but saw that the engineering students went to the trouble of making their conference have the acronym UnERD

Cops is the greatest show ever. They are watching this crack addict pull out crack and cash from her bra and needles spilling from her purse.

Reminds me of one time I was at wal-mart and this fat woman pulls out a wad of cash from deep within the depths of her bra, totally wet and sweaty bills. There was a cop right after her who paid with $100 bill and got all of her 10$ and $20 bills.
