Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

If I don't get an invitation in the next two or three days I'm just going to leave the group. *@&# them. 🙁 I don't know why they don't want to be friends with me anymore. I'll just keep in contact on my own with the one person left who still seems to like me.

Not the space program, just the shuttle program. The ISS should be done by 2010. Not sure if you saw my other post about Lockheed, but a few days ago they were awarded the shuttle replacement contract. Something simliar to the Apollo rockets (lame), but can be reused. They want to go to the moon I think and for a long periods, not 2 weeks like the shuttle did.

Pretty much...he was contracted there about 10 years ago. Made the 100 mile roundtrip commute everyday for a year or so. Maybe he hates it now?

Sorry to hear 🙁 I guess some of those tv show stereotypes are right. Some of those moms can be really bitchy. Sorry you had to experience one (or more) of them. 🙁

Yea, like no wind on the moon since no atmosphere. We don't have good enough telescopes (or at least not tried) to take pics of the surface. I think the Owl ESO telescope concept is good enough to view it, but it's a $1bb+ telescope so not worth...

I really don't care if they did or not. It's not a difficult task nowadays (2000+, not 1960s).

No, I don't feel like going to school again for at least a year. Plus, nothing besides med school interests me for masters or whatever else there is. If I don't get into med school, I won't get an MBA or PhD unless forced to do so and have it paid by someone else (a company or something)...

I really don't think I learned much in undergrad besides a few pre-med classes.

Yeah, that has been something I have been interested in. There are some books about that and stuff. I think the evidence is overwhelming that they actually did go. It's an interesting idea though, with being the Cold War and all!

I don't think there was much danger with that baby being held like that. It wasn't that close actually. Some of the camera angles made it look a lot closer. Plus, he knows what he's doing. He's had the most experience with crocs, not really sting rays, though.

Nobody pays for Ph.Ds. You even get a stipend (I was getting $21k at the end, started at $17k). They pay you because part of your Ph.D. training is teaching, working in a lab, etc.

It was more in reference to the MBA and other general masters programs (like Finance) 😉 My cousin with the MD/PhD gets a stipend and same with an econ PhD student I'm friends with...
