A few ground rules. Everything you post must be RANDOM and more importantly, only peripherally related to the MCAT. See my example post below. I now await Beary's shirtless pic of Carl Edwards. C'mon Beary, A-man is dying to see it. 😀

This is Ana's example:

Those Hurricanes are a bunch of street thugs. A bench clearing brawl? Come on now.

my god, i just saw that. the hurricanes didnt start it though brett, the FIU players did. i went to FIU for undergrad, the campus is 9 miles from coral gables where UM's main campus is. In south florida, FIU students look at UM as a stuck up private school - trust me, I was an FIU student. i guarantee you some of that public school vs private school tension was involved. what drives me nuts is that the game wasnt televised down here, you had to be at the orange bowl to see it so............ no game for me 🙁

damn my final exams

Nonetheless, Miami is known to be loose cannons and Cokehead Coker has no control.

Dude...they scuffled pre-game with us after stomping on the bird.

that seems like typical Miami behavior ... I've never liked their program for that reason, they are usually a bunch of thugs with no respect for tradition, or the game... a bunch of TO's on a team 🙄

BTW: Michigan should be number 2 this week, USC looked awful against a terrible ASU team 👍

ABC, what a dissapointment. They interviewed Chad Henne's high school coach, my gym teacher in high school, during the game tonight. He was possibly the most classless person in that stadium. He came to my high school after being fired from another high school for sleeping with a student. He then proceeded to force our gym classes (including mine) to do work for his football camps during class. This lead to his being fired at Wilson, and I think he now coaches at some small hick school somewhere north of Wilson.

He was possibly the biggest Penn State fan in the world while he coached at Wilson, and was trying to get Henne to go to Penn State. So there he is tonight, getting interviewed by ABC (probably his doing) with all his Michigan gear on telling ABC how Chad Henne was going to show Pa what he was all about. What a fool. I can't believe abc actually tainted it's network with that tool. 👎

Anyway, my condolences to the state of Florida college football. It was an ugly night on many levels. And yes, A-man, I agree that FIU started that one. Totally unacceptable

And the SEC does it again! We kill eachother at our chances for a championship game. Nice job Gators. Shooting yourself in the FEET doesn't work. Dumb move by our lineman to do a holding in the end-zone making a safety. Can't forget our dumb punter Wilbur who saw 3 Auburn players in front of him and decided to punt instead of falling to the ground. Finally, what a pos replay system we have. The ball was shown to be a tipped incomplete pass (was tipped ~6" out of Leak's hand), but called a recovered fumble by Auburn. Refs even said AFTER the game that with more review, it didn't look like a fumble. We could've taken a 2pt lead with a FG, but nope...swing the momemtum in favor of Auburn. At least they capitalized on our mistakes because their offense couldn't do jack. 4 FG and no TDs. Now that's sad. At least we got 2 offensive TDs and finally our first FG of the season. Both defenses were terrible. I can't even remotely call that SEC defense.

Congrats to Durden with another terrible Georgia game. Those close calls would finally catch up to them and unfortnately at their homecoming.

USC should not be in the top 5.

Didn't see any of the Michigan-PSU game. I think we'll see 2 undefeated teams come 11/18 if you know what I mean. 😉

Off to do some work and then some sleep. Not counting on the Bucs to win against the Bungals (did I make fun of them correctly?), but hoping the Bears do on Monday.

haha yeah that's what I meant. I haven't gotten used to typing acceptances yet, I still have interviews on the mind.

Nice win tonight. Michigan won fair and square this time 😉

that Michigan defense is nasty, but PSU doesn't really have much of an offense either...

I hope Iowa doesn't come out swinging next week after their loss to IU today 🙄

After Iowa it's only Indiana, Northwestern, Ball St. until Ohio St. so it shouldn't be too bad. I just hope no one important gets injured until then

I wonder how far Iowa will fall down the rankings, lol. Same with Georgia. Definitely in the 20s, but I don't think unranked would be fair. Tough schedule in the Big 10. 😉

as much parity as there appeared to be before the season, michigan and ohio st. are better than expected and Iowa, Penn St., MSU are a lot worse than expected.

How do you lose to Indiana though? or to Vanderbilt ? I don't know which program is worse... but they are both crappy

This week looks like #1 Ohio State and #2 Michigan. Man that sucks

Penn St. joining the Big Ten turned out to be a disaster 😉 I think that's why Notre Dame is scared of joining up 😀

I'd also like to give out a big LMAO to Miami. Fcuking awesome! Reminds me how awesome the Pacers-Fans matchup was. Some may think it was just wrong, but the dudes had full football gear on, no one was really hurt! Worst might've been cleats into exposed lower legs. It looked worse than it really was. I.e. the Miami guy hitting someone with his helmet. Dude throwing crutches. It was more for show than anything. To think that 6 years ago this team was playing OSU in the championship game.

Nah, PSU is exactly as expected. Nobody around here expected them to be good this year, not after losing more than half of the defense.

Paterno has to go... that program was amazing in the early 90s when they joined up.

the dude swinging with the helmet makes me laugh every time I see that... I think he wanted to pull back midway through his swing and it just came out looking so akward... there's a term I'd like to use here... but it might offend

Disaster? We won the confrence the first year we were in it (1993) and won it last year. Most of the other years (besides 2003-2004) we have had good records. Not exactly a disaster.

But yes, Notre Dame is weak but the only reason they don't join is because they are money hungry with that stupid TV contract

Never. Jay Paterno, yes. But Joe built that school and the town. He goes whenever he wants to and any true psu fan would agree. JoePa doesn't even call any plays anymore, so it doesn't even matter.

yeah It's nice to have 30% of the country like you just b/c of their religion 🙄

ok... that was confusing me too. They had the camera on him plenty and it looks like he does nothing and just doesn't want to give up the great view on the sideline.

who is getting groomed to follow him by the way ? any famous former assistant coaches turned head coaches that might want to come back ?

I agree. Most of those idiots don't even know where South Bend is. Seriously though, ND might as well be in the Big 10. They play so many teams each year. God I can't wait till we rip them a new one next year at home.

Louisville quietly moves up another spot.

their poor performance against Cinci was greatly overshadowed by the other upsets and bad game by USC...

It's nice to be a team so completely under the radar that I didn't even see a single highlight of their game

Yes, because you can't move up on your own, LOL! You need other teams to lose. I would laugh so much if a joke Big East team gets to the championship game. I wouldn't be surprised if Auburn places ahead of you with one loss if you guys go undefeated.

Quiet Storm is going to rumble through Nov. 2nd and show everyone we belong.

I haven't seen this fight. Is it online anywhere?

Yeah. It's hard to admit because in his prime, JoePa could outcoach just about anybody. Now, his roles are just recruiting new players, scheduling games, running practices (sort of), and making only major game decisions (like whether or not to go for it on 4th down, or whether or not to kick a field goal vs punt) He calls 5 plays a game at most. He's just told old to keep up with that anymore

It pisses me off when people (specifically people at penn state) say joe must go. Most of them just don't realize what he has done for that school. Without him, Penn State might not have even made it past a farm school.

who is going to follow him is always a big question. I think it will be Galen Hall, the offensive coordinator. He was a former PSU quarterback, but he also coached a bunch of other teams for a while, including Will's Gators
