A few ground rules. Everything you post must be RANDOM and more importantly, only peripherally related to the MCAT. See my example post below. I now await Beary's shirtless pic of Carl Edwards. C'mon Beary, A-man is dying to see it. 😀

This is Ana's example:

My, factually, better examples 😀 :

And one final thing. GO GATORS! GO AGGIES! My parents are A&M alum...

What kind? simple point and shoot? what kind of battery (proprietary or universal, like AA)? what kind of resolution do you want? is large zoom a factor? price range? etc.

Point and shoot, universal, 5.1 megapixels is fine, I'd like an optical zoom but a huge one isn't a big deal, less than $200

😀

My next camera is going to be the Canon Power Shot S3 IS 😍 Digital Rebel is out of my league.

I want something small that I can just snap quick shots with. I'll stick with my AE-1 for anything else.
I have a Canon PowerShot that's pretty easy to use. It's 3 years old, I think? I think I got it for around 200, I'm sure they've upgraded them since then. Takes AWESOME pics.

Is it just me, but I don't see that pic. I only see the Tripod Hosting logo as if it was hotlinked.
no it's everyone...
I just check the properties and go to the pic myself... I needed to see it NOW

*cues up The Proclaimers' 5000 Miles (a remix of the original 500 Miles/I'm Gonna Be per request of Durden and I, b/c we're TIGHT with those weird-looking Scotsmen) as a belated motivator for Will's 5000th post*

 I forgive you. 🙂 I still need babies though...

It's all about DSLR homie. Rebel is a starter. Then arrives massive debt, but a sweet 1D Mark II. 😀

Too many features I won't realistically use. Stop trying to get me to go into debt, that's what medical school is for

I mainly like the fact with the 2GB I don't have to burn the pics to a DVD as often.

Ah, I see what you're saying now. Less frequent stops to the computer. That's one reason they made memory cards that large. Don't blame you. Do you compress the files before burning to DVD? You can compress them in Photoshop to save some space and store more on DVD.

I rarely fill up my memory card, but I know I easily will in a few weeks. I'll be going to a car show and as you all know, I go crazy there. I took only 400 pics last time, but that's because I had a diff camera and the batteries died. I should probably buy a backup battery, too.

zoom isn't a major factor for me. i've heard that cannon's good
