Well, I'm no longer bound by the EDP agreement - ie, if they notify me after the deadline, even if it's an acceptance I can apply to other schools.

That would be stupid of course. An acceptance is an acceptance but I sure wish I could make a statement by tuning them down!!!

yeah, sundays mean closed offices at most med schools. unless you get a phonecall from a dean or something. when i was accepted to UMDNJ NJMS i got a phone call from dr.heinrich their admissions dean the same day the committee granted my acceptance. it was my first med school acceptance and it came in via a phone call at about 9PM on a Thursday.

hey brett!

ah dude, its medical school. no you cannot make some demands, they have ALL the power. ALL OF IT. for 4 years they can force you to do anything. i'm not complaining about my school in particular but if you read the allo boards you'll see some of the stuff that goes on at med schools in terms of the admins is ridiculous.

LOL! No, just woke up 5 minutes ago. Just according to plan because the NFL pre-games are on. NFL starts in 10 minutes. Non-stop til the NBC night game. Bears and Seahawks. :meanie: I'm rooting for the Bears, well, because their qb is Rex Grossman (UF). 😀

Btw everyone, no new Family Guy, Simpsons, or American Dad tonight (only War at Home is new). I think it will continue again in November during Novemeber Sweeps.

UMP, I'm not a Michael Schumacher fan so I was a bit upset. However, I'm a BMW Sauber fan and well, that last lap pissed me off like you can't believe. And Kubica got screwed because his team wanted to test some stuff with him. They treat a rookie (on his 4th race) number two driver like a lab rat during odd races like this one to get the correct data for their number 1 driver.

I root for all Florida NFL teams and, in general, Florida college football teams. Btw, why would I root for a redundantly named team? Houston Texans, lol!

I also don't have a UF license plate, ha. Can't afford that man. I don't think I will get one til I figure out where I will live for the next few years. Unfortunately, some a-holes slashed some tires at UF who had FSU plates on. I've had tires slashed before and it's not something funny. Car keyed, too.

Just chilling! I don't feel well - got a fever of 102. Ugh.

I looked up my blood cultures and it says absolutely nothing today. It does not say my beloved words of "no growth to date." But it doesn't say anything at all! Hasn't been updated since yesterday. WTF? 😡

I know from my vast 1 month of micro experience that a person has to confirm them as positive when they flag so of course my mind is running away that they flagged and now a person is checking it. I don't know how that situation is reported out on the computer. Thankfully I know the people that do this so will be able to go tomorrow and find out what the heck is going on if I don't see my beloved "NGTD" today.

Anyway, I'm going to mostly watch NASCAR and look at Will's F1 race. Tonight there is some other TV I wanna watch. That's about it.

How about you? What are you up to today?
