How's your local economy over there? Seems like they shut down a few car plants every year.

There are/were no car plants around where I am... but closer towards Detroit they're getting hurt pretty bad... Ann Arbor's economy centers around U of Michigan, and the pharamceutical companies that are here... so the city is doing great

that trade for Grant Hill a few years back that you guys made helped turn the Pistons in to a title contender... and you got stuck with a player who was injured 3/4's of the season.... So of course I can't hate the Magic

I'm actually a pretty big Sixers fan. I hate the NBA, but I love the Sixers. It's weird, but I can't not like a Philly sports team, even if they do play in a silly league like the NBA.

Please don't ever mention Grant Hill's name around me, thanks. That guys has no idea how much I hate him. It's been 6 years now that we've dealt with his bull****. I'm glad we have a young team now. I expect us to trade him around the deadline in early 2007 because he has an expiring contract. 7 years, $90mm+

As far as I'm concerned, the Detroit Magic won that championship. 😉

I can't see the pic, but I'm assuming Iverson. I agree, that guy plays with a lot of heart and never gives up. The only NBA player I can think of other than him is no one. It's pretty awesome to see a 6 foot guy like that weave through everyone and still make a lot of points.

He's the biggest reason the sixers can not ever do anything, and are a horrible team... if you like "me" players who don't make anyone else around them better, and drag the whole organization down along with them... then I can see why you are an AI fan 👎

Haha I always shop at Giant (I think they are based in Harrisburg or Hershey) They are starting to get a little fancier too, but the prices are usually ok if you have the Giant discount club card.

Western Pa has a store with an even worse name- Giant Eagle

In the metro area, all of the big chains are family-owned and -named conglomerates. Which are pretty nice, but no one's ever heard of them outside of here.

I put half the blame on ai and half the blame on the guys upstairs. They have done a pretty lousy job of trying to build a team around him, even if it is difficult.

Meijer's is great 👍 They're pretty much a nicer version of Wal-Mart, ie you can get name brand stuff there that won't fall apart within 3 uses
