i recommend some sort of sandals (in case your feet are hot) but also bring along socks (in case your feet get cold on the plane). you could do a skirt, and that way you'll look cute but if you get cold you can always put a blanket on.

Yeah, I don't read as many threads as I used to. Now I just skim the Thunderdome to see if there's any gossip about my schools of interest and see if there's anything particularly thoughtful worth replying to. I don't think I have the patience to check all the inanity as a mod/advisory.

lil - duh, now I remember 😀 Medical trip (the 20 hrs gave it away 😛 ) What's weather like over there. Its always cold on the plane, so now skirts 😛 I'd wear cute comfy pants and a long sleeve shirt. 🙂

durden, here's the exact email i got from emory:

"When your Payment Form has been processed, we will send you an email to
let you know, your supplemental application data will be locked, and you
will no longer be able to access the site to make changes.

When all of your letters of recommendation have been received, we will
send you another email to inform you that your application is complete.
If your letters have been posted to VirtualEvals or Interfolio, please
rest assured that we will download them as soon as possible. Due to the
increasing volume of letters we receive from these sites and the number
of applications we receive daily, it may take as long as THREE WEEKS
FROM THE DAY WE RECEIVE YOUR PAYMENT FORM UNTIL WE ARE ABLE TO COMPLETE
YOUR APPLICATION. We appreciate your patience!"

i'm going to the philippines.

i am in a rush (again) so I think I'll be sticking to jeans and a cardigan. if anything... i'll change on the plane or in Hong Kong

I'm hoping my interview on the 13th will get me a decision on the 15th, but I'm not going to hold my breath either.....

cool, that's what i figured.

i am glad that i don't have to hold my breath for oct. 15 since my first interview is scheduled for the next day. but good :luck: to those who might hear that early! 😀
