My bro and his family got a bunch of professional pics. Let me tell you, not only are they wonderful people, but my bro and niece are pretty good-looking if I do say so myself. 😍

Yeah, it's a frigid 72 and sunny here. 😛

I wore a fleece this AM because it was quite chilly when I got up. I'm not into this pitch darkness still at 7 AM.

Fleece is so much more comfy than white coat. I am going to try go get away with that as my second layer. And, has pockets! :idea:

I am closing my second office after today. Have referred out the last patient to someone else. This is kind of sad, b/c this is the first office I opened in '05, but I need to simplify my life and driving out here just is not in that plan anymore.

This also means no more Monday afternoon internet access. 😡 Ah, well.

Awww, jlw, that is sad. 🙁 I am glad you are simplifying your life though. I am glad you have internet access this afternoon though! I am switching between posting here and exchanging emails with my mom!

OTOH, no more 2nd rent payment. No more driving all the way out here just to have someone cancel or no-show. No more having to remember to grab something from my primary office to drag out here... or remembering to bring it back to that office.

It's got its perks. 🙂

My mom stopped emailing me. 😡 What am I supposed to do, work or something? 😉 Perhaps I will blog. But I am not allowed to blog about the baby! Extended family reads it and my bro and his wife don't want everybody to know yet since they are SO early.

I don't know how I missed that. I wanted to finish the race at Talladega, which I did. (Random comment: that ending SUCKED. Brian Vickers should not have gotten the win!) Then I think I just assumed it was over and didn't even check? I'm a real dummy sometimes.

😡 My lawnmower (only 5 months old!!!!) just died while I was mowing the front lawn. So now I have to find time to get it to the warranty place AND I have a half-mowed front lawn. I wonder how long before I get a letter from the HOA about that. 🙄

I'm so NOT in a good mood right now!!!

That stinks oxeye! 🙁 Does the HOA really email you about such things? That's lame.

PS - At first I thought HOA was "House Officer Association" who I get emails from at a rate of approximately 1/minute. I was like, why do they care if oxeye has a half mowed front lawn? :laugh:

wow. yeah, the first 2 years suck. 3rd year is more work, longer hours, more responsibility but only a fraction of the powerpoints and stuff of the first 2 years. all my rotations so far for example have had just 1 academic day a week where we get powerpoints.

good beary, you know whats awesome? 2 years ago i would have freaked out with all the stuff i have on my plate right now. at this point, i'm soooo far away from "freaked out" its ridiculous. i think if i didnt change my outlook i would have probably gone crazy a month into 1st year. :laugh:

you're so sweet. no rough meaning i'm hoping to pass--seriously. everyone i talked to felt the same way. This exam was so easy at the beginning and then by the time we were halfway through, we didn't know wtf was going on. get our results either tomorrow or wed. how was your day?🙂 🙂
