A few ground rules. Everything you post must be RANDOM and more importantly, only peripherally related to the MCAT. See my example post below. I now await Beary's shirtless pic of Carl Edwards. C'mon Beary, A-man is dying to see it. 😀

This is Ana's example:

My, factually, better examples 😀 :

If you want to play by your rules, Indira Gandhi National Open University beat you with 1.4 MILLION.

WOAH!!!

Well, those are "systems" which is a totally different situation. For example, a student from UC Berkely doesn't get the same degree as a student from UCLA, although they go to UC. But a student from Penn State, University Park, is the same thing as a student from Penn State, Altoona. There is no distinction, it's all Penn State (although in my opionion, it's really not and the numbers you posted are correct.....that's just me being snobby 🙂 )

Edit: Actually, the Cal system was a bad example because the degrees look identical with only a small distinction

The catch is, all you have to do is serve your duty at a branch campus for 2 years and you can come on up to the big party in State College, which isn't really fair to those who worked hard to get into main in the first place....but thats just the way it is.

Don't worry there's always St. Louis. 😛
 btw, we had a lot of rain yesterday but we're still snow-free

I had fudge poptarts and nutty bars for breakfeast. I know, it's healthy, but sometimes I have to force myself to eat it.

cold pizza and coffee for brunch was not bad at all
both of these sound better than my "grab the last 2 graham crackers in the pack and run out the door" option. 😳 I really need to go get some lunch..

Did someone just mention 19th century ******? I'm back!
look kids, Pavlov's laws in action! 😀

That's what all the stand up, sit down, kneel, stand up, kneel, sit down, etc is there to prevent.
isn't that stuff also there so that we can make fun of all the non-Catholics when they come to a Mass and don't know what to do when? "Ha ha- you kneeled when you were supposed to stand!" :meanie:

Although I am tachnically a Catholic.....I still don't know the order of stand up and kneel....this is why I hate sitting in the front :meanie:

I hate the front, too. 🙂 I'm a middle or toward-the-back-but-not-completely-in-the-last-row kind of gal.

Of course, to this day, my mother will march the entire family right up to row 4 or 5. 🙄

if our family makes it in time for the homily it's considered a success...

and we're the stragglers that end up standing in the back

ESPN is talking about the PSU dude who set 2k rushing yards in a season in 2002. Larry Johnson? Drafted by Kansas City. You watching Grumman?

Mmmmm, pumpkin spice frappuccino. 😀

It would be even better if it were warmer than 40 degrees outside.

oohh i love anything pumpkin 😀

really in the mood for some pumpkin spiced latte

UMich- Ann Arbor -Flint -Dearborn is the same way... but if people want a backdoor in to the Ann Arbor campus they just apply to the school of Kinesiology (since every school has it's own admissions committee)

I still think they set up the Division of Kinesiology just so some of the football players can stay eligible

Pavlov indeed. 😛

And if you think the aerobics of Mass is fun, just wait until Stations of the Cross. Now there's a real workout.

I still remember the first time I ever went to mass. I kept asking really annoying questions about what was going on and my friend was like, "What? You think I actually paid attention during those 13 years of Catholic school."

Ok seriously, I just caught up on the random thread, and I want to say one more thing before we talk about rainbows and candy-canes....

We are all different people and have different ideals, but I enjoy posting here because it's nice to see other points of views.

If you can't handle someone else's views or feel like bashing, FIND ANOTHER FORUM!!!!!!!!!

I am not a mod, but I seriously don't want to see anything like what happened last night again. That was just plain sad.

No, on to puppies and kittens....

well... I managed to offend absolutely everyone yesterday in the thread.

I drunk-dialed Beary last night too... repeatedly. I think she's scared of me now... I should lay off the booze 🙁

I agree...lay off the booze...or lay off the phone. It doesn't make a favorable impression.

 Another "I have less than 100 posts and am addicted to SDN" thread in pre-allo.

Will, you need to head over there STAT to pwn them.
