Of course its wonderful when you mother says "see you should have been doing this all through college ... " then the lecture starts ... 🙄 But I feel that maybe I have a shot at actually getting into med school one day even wtih all the rough patches taht you can hit! So it can be done ... 2.0-4.0/semester in one year 😉 :laugh:

Uneventful. While not a WashU letter, I did come home to a free $10 worth of drink coupons from Southwest airlines. All those interviews are starting to pay off. Too bad though that it wasn't before today's flight to a full house of relatives. 😀

Grandma from the Lou, both parents, my younger brother, and his live-in girlfriend. This should prove interesting.

I will do my best to play catch-up as a post-***** over break. My daily count has fallen from 20+ to 15. 🙁 The fact that AIM isn't working with the ISP here should only help me in my quest.

i'm free until jan 8th s&m, 3 weeks!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀

it became much less stressful in the 2nd week, too bad that when i go back in january even though it will be the same team all the players will be different - new attending, new residents, new interns. the intern i will miss the most, i had the absolutely sweetest intern with me the whole time teaching me and telling me things, i'll miss her. 🙁

i'll be able to hit the ground running though since i know the ins and outs of the VA computer system now and know where the supplies are in case i need to get an urgent blood draw or whatever myself from my patients, all thanks to my former intern. 🙂

its just amazing to me how much better a rotation can go if you have a good intern or resident with you.

I have a wonderful time with my niece. She is so energetic and playful and has such a great imagination! She just left for the airport 🙁 so I'm going to curl up and go to bed.

Yeah I'm going to NOT recommend this new "testeasy.com" crap. I got a free exam and I'm trying it out ... totally bogus crap. And this stuff is majorly easy. I haven't studied a bit and from what everyone is saying about the MCAT this can NOT be representative. I think its probably a tool to practice CONCEPTS but not for the test.
