Awesome! Order a boat drink (rum runner, tequila sunrise, etc. etc.)!

And for the pomegranates - totally yummy! The matrix of seeds was really cool. I think I'm going to make a New Year's resolution to eat a few every week!

I was up til 2am last night and got up at 10am. I'll probably be up til at least midnight tonight. I'm such a night owl when I don't have anything pressing or have to be anywhere.

As a side note - for those that live in the vicinity of the home repair chain Menards, they sell used appliances for like $10-20 bucks. I scouted out a few used fridges that I'm going to look at again tomorrow to keep beer in our garage! They also sell washers, dryers, stoves, etc. that are perfectly fine - just FYI for those that own. It was sthg new I found out today.

honey, I have to drive another 4 hours after lunch. I don't think it'd be advisable for me to do that. 🙁

oh and b/c she whined, she's getting brownies. double chocolate chip with powdered sugar on top. mom was my QA inspector tonight and gave them 👍 👍

bummer. I saw a fridge for the garage today for 10 bucks. Probably 5 years old.

After I do billing tomorrow I'm going to go back and see it in the daylight (The sun was setting and they keep 'em out back)

Probably not a good idea to get liquored up and back on the road he he. Maybe a virgin daquiri?? 😀

Woohoo!!! I seriously might fly out. I will look at flights now.

In other news, my talk sucked. 🙁 Oh well. I totally blew one of my thesis committee meetings and so I can hold that up in my head as a talk that sucked even more that was of much greater importance. 🙂

I have run into a bunch of people today with the "flu." 🙁 I feel better today than I did yesterday though. 👍 Still, wondering if I can get away with "working" from home. 😉

I don't knowk when the last time I slept that late. Sleeping until like 8:30 is late but also I usually get up every day around 7 to let the dogs out to go to the bathroom.

I'm going to miss sleeping in as with the hubby home ... it means that I have to be woken up at the butt crack of dawn again. 😡

Yeah that would be tough. I certainly don't miss the gyn onc days of setting my alarm for 3:30. 😱 Actually I can't believe I ever did that! (We pathologists bitch and moan when we have to be here at 7. 😳 )

:laugh: 😱 3:30, thank god he never did that (unless he was leaving here on a monday to drive to a rotation) the earliest was maybe 5ish or a little earlier.

Hmm... I don't know. I have a triangle pillow so I sit with my back on that. But it's a weird computer angle. I like to be more upright. I'm weird. 😳 Watching TV in bed is ok because that's set higher so I can look sort of up at it, instead of down at my comp.

Yeah, that was only on gyn onc. We would start our team rounds at 5:30 so I had to preround at 4:30. 😱 😱

I think on surgery everything was like an hour later, so get up at 4:30. Practically sleeping in, haha. 😉

Another autopsy signed out! Woot!

Now I only have 3 left, and those are out of my hands because the attendings are gone this week.

Just in time to go back to autopsy tomorrow. 👍

Slept in until 11am! Whoa!

I was getting some hives last night so I caved in and took some Benardryl. It wasn't too bad, but I wasn't going to chance it.

Since I've been off the thyroid meds for almost a week, my body is probably trying to absorb the last of it I guess. Oh, well. It's still not as bad as it was.
