Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I can now verify that Penguin is NOT a brownie tease because she does indeed follow through. :meanie: I'm sure A-man is now instantly jealous of me.

BTW, my sisters say Thank You for the brownies. They were super super rich. C says that they'll last forever because we have to eat them with ice cream 🙂

I'm glad you made it home safe. Sorry I didn't talk more. I'm the more reserved of the sisters. (K was actually being quite good, she's usually is much louder than that :laugh: )

Morbid question: anybody found a video of the actual hanging of Saddam? I want to see it and haven't been able to find it. All I can find is up to when they put the noose around his neck.

WTF?! The painter gave us a quote for what we needed painting from the very beginning. Now he's saying there's a balance due of $200 because he had to paint the trim in the living room.

Grrrrr.....

I don't think we're going to pay him.

I have looked for it and the noose/neck is the closest I have come too.

Feeling like I want more air. 🙁 Asthma is the thought. I am waiting to get into see a pulmonologist. Went to the doc on Thursday. Breathing hasn't been good and I have had bronchitis 8 times in the last couple of years. Not good.

I'm going to start the DJing now, as I'll be at work all day- not sure if I can take care of it later. And since *someone* has been slacking on his Christmas Break post-companioning, I suppose it's up to me.... :meanie:

Nope. We did a walk-through of the house together and I pointed out what I needed finished. We weren't sure if the flooring guys painted when they put trim up, so we asked for 2 estimates, one with everything, and one without the living room trim paint. The everything quote is what we paid.

And today I realized they neglected to paint our skylight like we asked. We're going to see them at a New Year's party tomorrow and we'll discuss it then. Another thing that irks me is that they sent some guy who's not even a painter to finished up the trim. There are some areas that are kinda crappy (blocked by furniture) and he got paint splatters on our heating vents and some on our new floor that we had to clean.

Next time we'll get a different painter when we're ready to paint the bedrooms.

I am thinking about getting some new computer games (because you know WoW doesn't occupy enough of my time. 😳 )

Anybody played any of these?

FEAR

I think the Rainbow 6: Vegas is the most appealing to me right now. I really like the Splinter Cell games, and this one is set in Vegas. 👍

today, I had the privilege of working with some really fantastic docs who I've never met before, as I'm not often on that floor. their dedication to the family of the patient I was helping with was amazing, and those of you who end up at my facility (and you know who you are) should be very proud to be trained by people like this. 👍

i've played rainbow 6 on xbox 350, my brother has it up here in NY. its ok, though vegas looks like a south american war zone. at least in the first part of the game i played, weird.
