Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

On a side note, who is up for a Randomite party in the loser's circle? 🙄

Why do my boys always lose whenever I get the chance to watch a game? 🙁

I saw the last 2 minutes after the Miami game (Miami lost, they had 2 tries with 2 seconds left). UF had a similar thing happen to them a year ago with 12 guys on the field. Something that should never happen. It also happened after a timeout. Except we were the offense with 12 men.

You and Durden are really twins. Both lost at home today. Not saying that's a good thing...

I just got done watching this movie where a soldier who had served in N. Ireland goes insane. (found an article about it: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/story/466404p-392453c.html ) I was surprised how hard it was to watch.

It's hard to remember that as much as we hate terrorism now, it was American dollars funding the IRA during the worst of the Troubles.

And now, in light of everything, it seems like nothing. Just alittle violence. But that attitude belittles the people lost their lives and loved ones.

But I think maybe that's alittle deep for the random thread... 😉

Finally watched "Diary of a Mad Black woman", someone told me it was hilarious ... not that much though. But at least i can say I saw it. Also watched Monster House and oneof my dogs chewed one of my favorite shaws 🙁

I'm sad OU beat A&M, I was pulling for A&M. There was too much PDA though whenever they scored. :barf: Overly exert "military" school. :laugh:

There were a couple parts I didn't find funny at all. I won't spoil it for anyone, but one part gave me more reason to dislike the USC Trojans.

Well I just got my folks out of here. We overall had a really wonderful weekend. But then they managed to piss me off bigtime just as they were going out the door. +pissed+ 😡

Important and deep comment of the day: Everything bad that happens is not necessarily somebody's fault.

crap. this reminds me that I need to start studying seriously for the MCAT. I'm taking orgo II, physics II, and micro (all w/labs) AND working. Ugh. Looks like my weekends are toast in the Spring.

Oh well. C'est la vie.

Yeah while studying for the MCAT: No life for 5 months. I'm not kidding; I NEVER saw my friends.


On a side note, a thread in Pre-allo says that Michigan notifies most accepted people about 3 days after they interview. 🙁 Guess that means most likely no Michigan for me as it's now 2 weeks after I interviewed 😉

You should call them - do you have acceptances yet? I haven't been keeping up as much as I'd like to the past few months!

Maybe they should think about what they say, then. I saw the movie last night and thought it was pretty funny. It was obvious that Cohen was calling out ignorance with his stereotypes, and I really didn't take offense to anything. Maybe a little too much with Jew-bashing, but knowing he's Jewish I can see the satire.

Also, I'm sure all of those filmed were compensated in some way, since they would have to give permission for Borat to use their segments in the movie. So I don't really feel bad for them, except the news segment. There was a news story that the producer of that news show in Mississippi was fired because of the Borat incident. There was nothing really bad except throwing off the weatherman and standing out of the shot, so I'm thinking the producer may have had other screw-ups and this was the last. Who knows.

Anyway, in such a politically correct world, this was hilarious.

my other option could be looking into the evening college at a, uh, more well-known and prestigious school in the area which shall remain nameless. however I think that would involve lab every Saturday morning 🙂barf: ), and I really would like to finish all of these classes at the same place.

Nope - no acceptances yet. I think I has something to do with the fact that in real life my body is covered with scales and I'm horribly deformed.
