this is our stress relief thread....or our group anxiety thread, whatever..... :laugh: 😀

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

You know, I totally had forgotten about this until now. When I was an M3 and under a lot of stress I had this period where I got hives every day. They came and went but it was really bothersome. I got some "curbside consults" as to what it could be, nobody really had an answer, and eventually they went away. I never found out what it was but wonder if it could have been stress.

Stress could likely be the culprit. I haven't ruled it out, especially since stress is a daily battle for me.

Oh well. I had more hives this morning, but not as bad as last night. I'm just glad I live in the age of Claritin and Zantac!

that was the interesting thing- as far as stressful times of my life go, that just wasn't one of them... that summer I was doing the same job for the 7th summer in a row, was heading back to a school I liked in a major I liked for my 4th year... family was all healthy, friendhips were fine... so really nothing new and different that I would have pinned as a stressor. granted, it was the first year I directed the camp, but the hives started months before camp even started.

there have been MUCH more stressful times in my life since then that have not produced any hives at all.

Hi Guys! 😍

Bridal shower was kinda boring (but they usually are). The party though was pretty fun; we had dinner on a boat that floated around the Riverwalk. I forgot this how friggin' cool the Riverwalk is. Though maybe boats and alcohol not so much a good idea? Then we went to a couple of gay clubs and danced (No I didn't get drunk and I wasn't hungover this morning... our DD was drinking so I decided someone should be capable of driving/being responsible 😡 )

Then breakfast with Mr. Eye-candy and a LONG ASS DRIVE home... ugh. I hate that drive. I stopped about a half-dozen times.

I have heard awesome things about the Riverwalk. The Huskers go to the Alamo Bowl a lot and I would love to go sometime.

Boats and alcohol - not a good idea. I lost a good friend and med school classmate to this combo.

Sorry your DD was drinking but am proud of you for being the responsible one. 👍 😍

friend of mine used to have one like that. her nickname was Satan, and she used to sit up on the top of the kitchen cabinets and lean over and hiss at you, baring her teeth.

i saw "the omen" this morning on DVD, um.... what a let down. it wasnt that bad but i hated the ending.
