I think Wisconsin should be 12th like you most likely read in the Drs Louge posts that I made. Louisville has no defense, just like Texas, but I think Texas is a better team so I put them in. Rutgers has defense, which is think the top 8 (minus Texas) all have. However, they have problems scoring. They had close games to easy teams. Keep in mind Texas has a championship game to play like the SEC. ACC sucks this year.

so we should have you decide who makes the playoffs every year ? ok, that sounds about, right 😉

The 6 BCS conference champions plus two at-large bids sounds good to me...
but then you'd have to dump either Notre Dame or the 2nd place SEC team. An ACC team will have to get in there somewhere... although I have no clue what is going on in that conference right now

You would agree with me if you knew what was going on there. It's a very weak conference this year. Georgia Tech and Wake Forest are the top teams in each division there. GT is ranked #18 in the Coaches poll and WF #14 for a reason. The Georgia Bulldogs will probably beat GT next week, too.

The ACC and Boise State do not deserve to play in a BCS game this year imo.

Big Ten
Pac 10
SEC
3 at-large bids

Only for this year though. Next year if the ACC is stronger, take away 1 at-large and put in the ACC. There shouldn't be a guaranteed BCS bowl game for a conference champion if that conference is having an off year...FSU shouldn't have played PSU last year because FSU wasn't good. They got $14mm for that "guaranteed" crap.

There's only one flaw to your system. There are 5 BCS games (10 teams) this year with the championship not being one of the regular 4. It's not like last year. 😉

I also think LSU will beat Arkansas at the last regular season game, making Arkansas 7-1 in the SEC going into the championship game. If Florida beats Arkansas, put LSU in a BCS game instead of Arkansas for my list.

University of Washington sent me an MD rejection letter. Too bad I'm still under consideration for the MSTP, lol!!! The letter said that "you are rejected MD but if you applied MSTP then you still have a shot."

What a letter...

Hey folks! I had a really good day today. 👍 Am feeling MUCH MUCH better, and did my first full autopsy (report, dictation, cause of death, etc.) all by myself!

Weakness moment of the day: We had a decomp case (a decomposed body). I threw up in my mask. First time that has ever happened to me. 😳

wow, that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. but their regular MD program has strict requirements for OOSers...they pretty much only take people who want to do MSTP or who want to do their rural/underserved program. don't sweat it. they didn't even use proper grammar on my MSTP rejection letter. 😛

so apparently UAB already filled up those interview dates they offered to me (they sent the email thursday afternoon, and i responded on saturday morning 😕). and i had already told everyone at my work! now it will be mid to late january!

Ahh..🙁 Sorry S&M. I hate this entire process thus far. Hopefully having it delayed by a month won't affect anything other than time off work.

Btw, I got an e-mail from USF saying my application is incomplete: missing the electronic LORs. 😡 I contacted my LOR service today, they sent mine on Nov 1st to USF! Every school except USF has notified me that they have mine so I think it's USF that needs to check it again. They said tomorrow morning they'll check their electronic letters. We'll see. 🙄

ESPN NFL MNF FTMFW! GO BUCS!

My niece is so funny. :laugh: I bought her these little slippers and was just telling her about them.

Me: Hi honey, I just bought you some slippers!
My niece: Are they character slippers or plain slippers?
Me: Plain, no characters on them.
My niece: What color are they?
Me: Pink!
My niece: Dark pink or light pink?
Me: Well, kind of closer to a dark pink I guess.
My niece: How much closer to a dark pink than a light pink? :laugh: :laugh:
