Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

Good morning folks!

I slept for a solid 7 hours. :wow: 😀

Getting ready to head down to see what awaits me in the morgue. I would be happy as a clam to not have an autopsy today. My neck/shoulders/back feel like they did on my M3 surgery rotation!

We have THREE HOURS of conferences today. 🙁 I like conferences because that's where I learn a lot (and get to passively sit on my butt :meanie: ), but 3 hours in one day? Seriously. And they're all broken up so they totally interfere with your day. One at 7:30, one at 8, one at 12, and one at 5.

Also, today, I am going to start studying for Step 3. Seriously. I really don't want to fail this test.

Morning peeps. I am still hacking up a lung and feel like %^&*. Dang! I emailed my prof because an exam today is just not in the cards. I wish it were since I have another exam on Thursday and frankly I would prefer to take it in the familiar classroom than some strange Math Lab. Nonetheless, if I were to attempt it the way I feel right now all would be lost. I am hoping and praying that in a few hours (at least by 2pm) I will feel well enough to go to class and take this stupid thing.

I hope everyone is doing well and I'm waiting to hear which smart school(s) have invited Ana to be an alum. :clap:

Usually most will require work experience or background in business of 2 years. You have to take the GMAT. Minimum scores of your regional/national university will require at least a 500, the more competitive usually reach into the 550-620 minimums. Some will require you to take a summer school class that is an introduction to account/finance/etc. I know penn does that for non-business majors because some schools are requiring prereqs of acct/finance now, hence why they require business experience to make sure they have a certain "caliber" of student supposedly.

I had a friend who was a bio major do a joint degree and although she aced the program it was extremely hard for her to learn in the program because everyone else had some sort of business course like and intro to accounting or finance or economics. She put in like 10 times the effort literally studying every day for hours on end.

Ok off ot the gym, then class, then studying for an exam with some classmates, then we have our lab, THEN tonight ... we are having a NWS guy come out to our meteorology class! :clap: So I'm actually going to go to class for the first time in 2 months. We'll see how good he is. I didn't get a chance to read the chapters on tornadoes and hurricanes but I have a few questions for him about the brand new weather radar system they are implementing next year that is in a test run in Florida.

I am going to look like such the douche tonight asking all these complicated questions :meanie: You guys have anythign that you've been dying to know?

I had a sad dream last night. I dreamt that a randomite who was visiting me in Houston (only happy part of the dream was the fact that i was a first year) got into a car accident and was in the hospital really really sick. 🙁

Where in the hell did THAT dream come from!?!? 😕

Hi dear! I am so sorry that you still feel like ****. I was wondering about it as soon as I got up this morning. 😍

I hope as well that you are able to take your exam this afternoon, but most of all, I hope you feel better soon!

Yep, that's what I've heard as well!! I certainly hope that is true! :scared:

Though, I have time to study today! Because, this morning I had the most beautiful sight in the world for the autopsy resident - a 100% empty cooler. As in absolutely nobody died last night. :clap: I didn't even have to do the books to figure out autopsy permits and such!! 👍

Ugh, how sad. 🙁 I have really weird dreams too. I think that usually they don't mean anything.

One of my attendings was literally like, "Heard it was a quiet day downstairs. Here's some random crap to do." 😡

Ugh. I have paperwork, etc., to catch up on, and hoped to study for Step 3 for a few. Hopefully will still happen.

we are playing the brownies this week...hopefully we can pull off a win there. they're still bitter about that 41-0 steelers win on x-mas eve last year, though, so hopefully it'll be a good game.

i'm sorry! That's the worst when you have to miss an exam--just adds more stress. But everything is going to work out fine--I hope you feel better😍 😍

speaking of no turnovers...steelers had a turnover-free sunday this week, and they recovered 3 of 4 saints' fumbles! let's hope for another turnover-free sunday this week! 😛
