Frogs freak me out. An unnatural fear acquired from my mother. Most things I'm afraid of came from one (or both) parents... frogs, lizards, snakes, rats, flying (but i conquered that one with an awesome trip to NYC).. the only real phobia I have that DIDNT come from my parents is thunderstorms (and most of that comes from living in hurricane/tornado central)

speaking of NYC, i was walking along central park south on friday and i forgot how smelly that area is of horses. Do people really think horse carriage rides are fun or romantic? because I dont, they just smell really bad

X means AMCAS changed something.. these are the things you need to check out before you assume all is well. 🙂

i love frogs and lizards!!! i also love snakes (nice snakes--not mean poisonous snakes) flying and thunderstorms don't bother me.


My phobias are spiders and millipedes. i run away crying like a little baby at the sight of one. i get these little tiny millipedes in my house and they practically give me a heart attack.

also horseflies......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I thought you could get X's and have a verified application?

Do the X's have any negative bearing on your app?

No no, it'll still be verified, it just means they changed something/saw something differently than you did (so you def want to LOOK at those things).
I don't think it has any negative bearings on the app..

You can challenge the Xs if you think that AMCAS is wrong, but the Xs don't really matter.

The only reason I commented on no Xs is because someone posted they got all Xs since they classified their status by years and not the hours. But mine must have gotten through the cracks.

Horseflies 👎

They're not too bad in Northern IL but in Southern IL they're as big as palmetto bugs sometimes. And hurt like the dickens.

Up here the blackflies are ruthless. And now there's a case of West Nile from mosquito bite.

My least favorite insect would be like yours Nikki - the millipedes and giant spiders make me shiver.

Yeah, there are no cars on Mackinac Island so everybody takes carriage rides (or bikes). The smell of manure is overpowering at times. But, I still had a lot of fun.

MILLIPEDES AHHHHH

I love the sound of my frogs. I actually have never seen them, but they are very loud. Don't like snakes. LOVE thunderstorms - like look forward to them for days in advance. Don't like to fly, but can do it with the aid of some benzodiazepenes. 😳
