I got rejected from my top choice in the US today (Minnesota). Meh. I'm reminding myself that ANY US school is a distant second to Canadian ones for me, so it's not really an issue, but still, I hoped for an interview so I could fly to Mpls and hang out with my friends.

Man, I just called my grandmother to congratulate her with her birthday, and she said one of my great-aunts passed away last week. I'm surprised my father never told me! I wasn't really shocked to learn the news - she had been in terrible pain for over a year, and everyone had been waiting for her to die any day - but still, it was sad to hear it.🙁

Just finally got in touch with my father. When I asked him why he didn't let me know, he was like, "well, you haven't called since it happened, so..." I was like, uh, you do know that YOU can call me, too, right? 🙄

Well, I started the day with some good news! My financial aid advisor called and said she had made a mistake last time when she calculated the amount I owe...she had said it was $1685, and I was freaking out, cuz I don't have that $ on me now. But turns out it was only $665! How's that for a mistake? Paid her on the spot, so now that's all done.👍

So how do you guys keep yourselves busy when you know ADCOMS are meeting? This is a new part of the process for me! :scared:

No news today. Maybe tomorrow... at least tomorrow I have it pinned to certain times (before 9, 11-1, after 4) b/c there are more interviews ongoing. If nothing tomorrow, then Friday morning. :scared:

My throat, sinuses, and head hurt. Took the drugs and waiting on them to kick in so I can sleep.

i've spent a fair amount of time all week reading pre-allo for that trip next week.
